Haha! No fair!!
I really liked this one Charlie. Murmur was genuinely creepy and I thought all of the characterizations were straight on. Pretty exciting stuff! I have a good idea where this is going, being in on the behind-the-scenes, but am very excited in seeing how it all plays out! Great story, C!!

Excellent job! This was really solid from beginning to end. Murmur actually gave me goose-bumps! I truly enjoyed this.

This was the best issue of The Flash so far! Murmur was a great villain, and the Reverse Flash is getting scarier and scarier all the time. You really handle the superspeed action very well (after all, how many ways can you say he ran really fast!). Sp this Reverse Flash has the same motivation as the DCU Zoom? I like the whole CSI angle for Barry, and hope you explore that some more. The shout-outs to the JSA were cool, but I think we have a continuiity gaffe here (see my PM). A question: what does it signify when a scene is in italics?

The italics are sections of the story which aren't linked directly to The Flash. There are the quiet moments, the villianous interludes and the downright nasty parts.
Let me also clear this up! Captain Cold doesn't know who The golden age Flash is really, he was told by Zoom "Go distract this guy who is dangerous to our plans" and Cold did so.

Chuck, I really liked this issue... it was your strongest yet! I wanted more Mumur! Who is the mystery man talking to Wally??? If I understood properly, it's not Jay... Yet even Jay looks 30 years younger than he should... Interested to see how it all plays out. Good to see Chyre & Morillo taking active roles in Flash again also.
Keep it up!

I too thought this was the best issue of the Flash so far! I liked to nod the Gardner Fox. I like how you have taken elements of the current Flash series and mixed it in with the previous Barry Book. Using all of the characters including Murmur, and the Zoom inspired reverse Flash. As for who young Wally talked to in this issue......well it has to be.............(ok I figured it out but I wont say here) But I think its great. I have always thought that the Flash was a great character and in the hands of John's and Waid has been the best DC book for the past 10 years plus! Thank you for making this a fun ride so far and I look forward to seeing this story 'run' its course! OK that was bad ;D but this story isn't!

I'm suprised no one has commented on Chyre's discovery, or any more guesses on the strange man/woman Wally spoke to...?

Charlie, good stuff! I'm really starting to get a feel for Barry. Love the detective aspect--he and Bruce are probably going to have a bit in common, there!
