Great story. But I had some problems reading it in the final chapter. Flashbacks, and stuff. Had to read it twice. Still, it is the best issue of the week. The end is an unexpected ending, but just too weird. I bet it has something to do with time traveling stuff.
I pity the guy who has to write the Flash after you.

I'm glad you liked this, but dude, I'm giddy to have written this. I've planned this since #0, since BEFORE #0, and this was a book I had no intrest in writing until I got this idea.

Great issue. I, too, got confused towards the end, but my brain is going in eighteen different directions. Loved the ending. That's the kind of cliff-hangers that keep me coming back. Can't wait to read the rest. As always, Charlie, your creativity impresses the heck out of me!
Oh, and the cover is absotlutley out of this world!

This story did not apologize to you if you forgot what happened before. It just dropped you right in the middle and left you standing there as it zoomed all around you! It was a little jarring and all over the place, which I guess can only work in a Flash book.
As I read it I was reminded of both the Johns and the Waid run on the Flash. It was Mark Waid who truly made The Flash my favorite character. The ending to this reminded my of the second to last chapter of The Return of Barry Allen. That was an incredible cliff hanger.

So I finally read the first seven issues. All in one sitting and I have to say, I may have a new favorite DC2 title. I know there have been a few writers so Ill break it down.
1 -3 Charlie you are insane. There some golden moments in here, like Barry falling through the floor from vibrating for one. And Ralph Dibny making an appearance with Sue all alive and un dirtied made me smile. The stuff between Barry and Jay was great. A very clever way to re-tell an origin.
4-5 Brandon this was fantastic. The Flash titles have always been great for a good sci-fi fix and you certainly delivered. Ending the world to save it is just brilliant.
6 I liked this one too. I think it was a great read and nicely done in one issue.
7 The big reveal! Wow! I never saw it coming. And you know who in you know who's suit is also an awesome twist. Makes you take a second look at the cover.
Good job on this title everyone involved! Great stories and great covers.

A fantastic reveal! I wasn't expecting it to be Jay at all! I'll wait for the next issue to make a summary of my thoughts about the entire arc, leaving you with a few ''wows'' for now.
