Very nice work here! Loved the story, loved the dream sequence. And the cover really pops out at you. Great job Charlie and Brandon!!!

The story was good... I like that it's leading to something big. The line "she died" perked my interest. The dream sequence was cool. A couple of paragraphs I had to read a few times to get what was being conveyed... and I doubt Barry Allen's inner-monologue would have a British accent... "colour"... being from the mid-west & all. I mean they talk funny, just not a British accent . Otherwise, I can't wait to see whats to come! |

Dude, we all speak ENGLISH.... That's a generalization... remember Crunk? Pretty sure that wasn't English. Yet we do not all speak with a British accent... when I read words spelled the British way (i.e. colour, arse, etc.) I tend to read them with a British accent in mind. This was not a meant as a harsh criticism, so please do not take it that way. I enjoyed the ending... Yet I enjoyed him waking up in the apartment downstairs after vibrating through the bed even better... |

The vibrating through the bed was my favorite part, too.
Very nice, very tight start to our Flash epic. My only complaint--- too short!

This was a good story Charlie. And just like Idlewilder , I liked the part when he was vibrating through the bed.

still catching up from my honeymoon in vegas so I am sitting here with a virtual stack of comics in front of me! Anyway, I think the story was hit and miss. I liked the fast paced thought process that Flash would have and the beginning was the best part with the dream sequence. But it did seem a little short and all over the place. Overall, not bad and I like where I think this might be going so I look forward to more.

I enjoyed this issue and can't wait for the story to get to some action. I'm glad a prominent villain like Zoom will be Flash's first rogue, but I can't wait to see Captain Cold and Captain Boomerang.

I liked this 'flash'-introduction to the character, told through his eye which was a good decision...but which brings me to my only gripe. Simply: why the sudden perspective change in the last 2-3 paragraphs...?
