I've really enjoyed this run! ( ) I can't wait for the next issue, but there are some things in this issue that have bugged me (because I got bugged for the same reason a while ago). The tenses are a bit of a mess. Present tense for the first person narrative, but then there are times when it's not Barry's POV, and it's still present (and a bit of future, I think I saw) so I dunno. I don't let that take me out of a story, so it didn't distract me from the awesome story you've been telling. I love Barry! I love how he stopped Savitar, and I love the subtle reference to "Time Flies" that you threw in there! Or were they references to Time Flies, or something... In the future? I dunno. But I can't wait for the next issue! The Flash has consistently been a strong book since you guys have taken over it, and it's one of the unsung greats of the site. Keep it up!

What a way to finish this arc. Great stuff all the way around, although I have to admit that some of the tenses confused me a bit. But Savatar is one of my favorites and it was fun to watch Barry deal with him.
****SPOILER**************
and a great big welcome to the newest character of the DC2 Universe! Our second birth! Guess it makes up for all the death and destruction.
Great job, guys!

This was the worst job of editing I have done for this title yet and I apologize if it put anybody off. We tried to blend elements from different periods of the Flash to craft a powerful tale. All the future events he saw are all things that will come to pass. If you liked these past seven issues then Seb's final two will knock your socks off.

We figured it would be a lot easier elimanating the Tornado Twins from Bart's history rather than keeping it how it is in the DCU. Come back next month as everything that has been building up since #11 comes together.

OK I am one of those people that have busted Charlie's chops (as well as a few others) about present tense usage. So I have to get this out of the way first:
IT BUGS THE HELL OUT OF ME.
Now with that said, that was the only real negative nitpick I could find with this story.
The opening scene with the action narrative through Barry's POV flat out rocked. It was gripping and pulled me right in.
The armor was interesting and I look forward to seeing the story behind that when it comes out.
So last issue I complained about not getting some resolution in this title. We did get some here as well as something to celebrate.
Overall, another solid issue to add to the creative teams run here.
And speaking of teams, the art team of Jay and Ramon put together another cover that was just too cool.

While I liked the end, the main part of this story didn't really work for me. As a reader, I felt a bit cheated - having the hero battling a seemingly omnipotent bad guy last issue, and then have everything turn on its head in this issue with no real explanation given just didn't seem right (I realise that you're going to explain it in the future, but I'd have preferred to know how Barry was winning while I read it).
Great cover.

Great cover. Thanks for reading Mark. Savitar wasn't really omnipotent. He just was a lot faster than Barry. In this issue Barry was able to tap into more speed than Savitar thus enabling him to defeat him.
