Another action packed issue (in fact it was mostly action, wasn't it, Kevin?) that continues to pull the reader along in a hectic joy ride of thrills, spills and... thrills! I'm loving your characterization of Barry and when he's getting beaten down and thinks "Now would be a good time for Wally to show up" I laughed out loud. You have a good grasp of the character, a fantastic one, in fact, and the "NEXT ISSUE" blurb continues to thrill me into wanting to read and edit the next issue.
For someone who worries about their grasp of action scenes, I think you're doing fantastically well, as I could follow each punch easily. Don't worry about it man, the only way to get better is to keep pushing yourself however hard you can. I know a big step for me was when I started writing in the present tense!

Wow, am I exhausted reading this! Another top notch issue with more action than you can shake a stick at. I loved the Wally line, and beautiful follow up on that, by the way.
My favorite scene had to have been with Iris. I'm glad she's getting some quality time here. She's a stong character and one that deserves to shine in the sun, and you've done a terrific job with her.
What I really am enjoying, though, is the way you are layering this story so beautifully. I love continuing and building stories, and this is a shining example of that kind of storytelling. Great job. Excellent cover!

The superspeed battles here were excellent--I'm taking notes!
Thanks for the Titans reference; does Wally need to be around more? Well, thankfully with superspeed that's more than possible.
And oh yes Iris....you have a problem....

You have a good grasp of the character, a fantastic one, in fact, I'm gonna get a swollen head here, Charlie! No, but really, thanks for all your kind words! Well, since I'm such a nice guy, I think your dream may in fact come true..... Thanks. Orginally I was going to have Wally show up but it seemed a bit too convenient after Jay did the same last issue, so the joke was born! I figured it also made a nice reversal on Barry's legendary lack of punctuality. Well, I really appreciate that, but I think that the DC2 Flash title in general has done a tremendous job of showing Iris as a strong, independent character and I just tried to continue that. Again, thanks for such positive words. I'm a big fan of stories which build a narrative through many stories and I'm trying to tie what I'm doing with the stories before me (Hopefully those writers don't mind!) to create just such a sprawling tale.... which will be reaching its blockbuster climax sooner than you think! This is, I think, the third cover that Craig has done for one of my books, and it just makes me giddy every time. If Charlie hadn't already seduced him into his evil ways, I'd cage him and force him to do this forever. The energy just pours off that cover, and the characters are so- okay, I'll stop gushing now. Thank you, Craig! In all honesty, you have no idea how relieved that makes me- I was totally unsure about them as I was writing them! Hey, as long as you keep telling such great stories over in Titans, I'm happy to reference them through Wally. I've always held that shared continuity's pointless if it's not used, even if it is casually. Oh-HO, yes, she most certainly does. Wolfe's just the tip of the iceberg for how much trouble Iris, and her family, will be in soon enough! Thanks again for all the kind feedback everyone, and glad the issue was enjoyed!

Really loved this issue, and the whole run of Flash thus far. Check out this week's GL, and tell me what you think about Barry interacting with Ollie and Hal.
Keep us on the edges of our seats!

Thanks for the kind words, Daniel! I will make sure to check out Green Lantern- I've always had a soft spot for the guys in the Corps anyway.
Join us next issue, everyone, for a somewhat lighter installment and a spotlight on the recently returned Quicksilver, as well as the return of everyone's favourite orange and blue striped felon as the pieces fall into place for the DC2's biggest ever Flash story! Barry better enjoy it- he won't have many other happy things in the days ahead....
