Nice issue. The scene where Trickster just lays it out for Flash, "You chose yours," was bone-chilling. I mean, the Rogues are a special brand of bad guy in their moral codes and such, but they're still bad guys, and for Barry to be compared to them like that... pure writing gold.
Plunder interests me very much, both power-wise and character-wise, so I hope we see more of that crazy guy.
I think you have an excellent grasp of Barry's character and his earnest qualities which make me really enjoy the story, even though it's in first-person perspective (which can be problematic a lot of the time). Along those lines, I like Trickster too, as he does a fun, mad mix of Joker qualities with more crazy Gizmo tendencies.
Overall good issue that was thoroughly enjoyable and kept my attention. Great Job!

That was a really tough scene to write for me but I'm glad you liked it. You'll be seeing a lot more of him in upcoming issues. Including glimpses of who is really beneath the mask. The Flash is the only book where I write in first-person perspective. It's something a lot of the writers on here did before me so I've kept up with that. It's definitely challenging but it's also fun because you get to really get into the main character's head. Through the course of writing this series so far, Trickster's become one of my favorite characters of any character to write. He's just so goofy but at the same time there's something definitely underneath all the wackiness. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment! Glad you liked it!

Another terrific issue. I have to agree that the dialogue between Trickster and Flash was riveting to say the least!
exceptionally well written. Candyman intrigues the daylights out of me.
Keep up the great work!

Very good! I think I have an idea who Plunder is, what with being from a mirror dimension and all, but I'll keep my mouth shut so I don't get Tasered. ;D
One correction, though:
She cuddles up next to me on the couch while I stare at my hand. On my right hand, there are two bands on my ring finger. The lightning crested ring where I keep my Flash suit and beneath that, one of the things I cherish most---my wedding ring.
Except in some cases where the spouse is dead (and Iris most certainly isn't), wedding rings are worn on the left hand. Nice image you worked in, but you should've put it on the other hand.

Think you know who Plunder is hmmm? (Prepares taser) Me, being not even close to marriage, had no idea about that Man...nice catch though, Susan.

The thing that made this issue for me was Trickster's dialogue. It just sang off the page, and his whole madness was an angle I thoroughly enjoyed. He was Joker-lite, and not in a terrible way, but in a way that you could enjoy without fearing for your life with every word out of his mouth. Brilliance. The ongoing woes of Barry Allen are engrossing, the world-building that continues is epic, and I'm so pleased that Pat's as psyched to be on this title as I am to have him there! Send me the next issue! Stat!

So much fun! YEAH! This title has been huge amounts of fun already! Expect it in the next few days. Had to change a few things around in the issue. But you shall get it soon!

Very nice issue. I admit I haven't been keeping up with the Flash but this issue did a great job of bringing me up to speed while also progressing things. Good job on that. Like others have said the dialogue between Barry and the Trickster was a lot of fun to read.
