great issue. I loved the interaction between Roy and "Team Arrow" Oh man, why can't DC have a title written as good as this? Brian, that is worth 6 stars.

Wonderful stuff, as usual. Connor is starting to fit in with Team Arrow and Roy has great interaction with them. Ollie and Eddie still deserve their own sitcom and the Count is shaping up to be the villain we know and love. Keep it up.

Connor has fallen into the middle of his first adventure and he seems to be adjusting rather quickly, doesn't he? Of course, what happens when he and daddy finally get a chance to sit down and get to know each other... that's the question! As for Ollie and Eddie... this is something that has grown organically that I have to admit, I'm enjoying the hell out of. Glad you are too. Thanks for reading and responding!

"What is it with you?" Bwaahaha! Oh but Roy, you learned well from him, so can you really talk? *Stops and realizes EXACTLY how appropos that is as he says it.* Heh....
Anyhow, Connor is still taking things very seriously. We'll see how that goes. I want Connor and Roy to get along, at least. There are only two times I ever realy liked Devin K Grayson's writing. One of those is Technis Imperative; the other was the Arsenal miniseries issue where Roy and Connor teamed up.
While I'm impressed by Count Vertigo (whom I didn't know other than by name, not being up on Ollie's Rogues Gallery), I'm more worried by the bad guys "back home".

The only problem with becoming the editor for Green Arrow is having to try and keep some detachment in my praise, being personally invested now. But needless to say...
...fantastic stuff. Really. Loved it.
Take care Don

Yeah, that is kind of like the pot calling the kettle black, isn't it. ;D And for the record, that line was stolen from Star Trek VI: "The Undiscovered Country." One of my all time favorite lines. Connor is taking everything very seriously at the moment since he's just met his father, hasn't really had a chance to sit down and talk to him because he's been going from one adventure to the next. But things will slow down eventully. As for Roy and Connor... well... stay tuned. and well you should be, because if I may put out a bit of a teaser, what is going on in Star City is going to be felt there, Las Vegas, and Metropolis. Oooooo. Thanks for reading and responding, my friend!

terrific issue, great cover! I agree on the cover! Everything Ramon does is gold, and this one is just as perfect as the rest of them! If DC were smart, they'd take a peak in this place and hire the man on the spot! Thank you much for taking the time to read and to comment. Also nice to see you commenting more often.

So after last issues cliffhanger the guys manage to get out of one mess and land smack dab in the middle of another when….wait for it….Count Vertigo finally shows up and fights GA. Wait that didn’t happen? Maybe next issue! “You sure your little club didn’t just look the other way?”
“…And how was it again that Werner Vertigez turned into the international criminal known as Count Vertigo?”OUCH! Nice reference to All Star Comics #3 from two freakin’ years ago. No one takes care of DC2 continuity better then Brian. I am growing more and more curious as to what going on with Ollies former company and whats up with Ollie’s new nemesis. It was very cool to see Roy show up. “Can’t you two ever get together and just shoot pool and drink some beers like normal old men?”Great line! The entire ‘family reunion’ made this issue for me! No one handles these characters better then you sir! Also nice to see Roy working for Checkmate. I sure hope that title returns one day so we could see more of it! For now I am simply loving this title and how tightly plotted this run has been. It truly reads like a rock solid TPB that flows so well. 5 stars because there hasn’t been a bad issue yet. Unless of course Count Vertigo doesn’t really show up.

Thanks for all the comments, John. I'm glad you've had a chance to catch up on some of these, and that you've enjoyed them. Also very glad that Connor is growing on you. I hope by the time you make it to issue #9 you'll have come to like him as much as I do. Most of all, a huge thank you for taking such a large amount of time out of your life to read all of them!

Most of all, a huge thank you for taking such a large amount of time out of your life to read all of them! The time out of my life is well worth it my friend. I consider it time well spent when a master at his craft takes the time, energy, and passion to create a growing body of work such as you have. I look forward to having more time to catch up on DC2 (& DC3) since I won't go on another comic book buying spree until this fall. Plus with TV shows like Lost, Heroes, The Shield, & Dexter on hold until Fall/Winter I need something to fill the void right?
