The End. Tell us what you thought, and offer up a moment's silence for you know who.

Wow... I honestly didn't see that coming. I'm speechless.
Fantastic.
This entire series has been a wonderful combination of al things that make sci-fi fantastic! I could see a finely woven mesh of influences that span the genre and the way you guys brought it all together for this was wonderful. I do want to know what happened with Henshaw and Katma... Didn't see them much after that opening scene. I kind of thought Henshaw would fall in this battle, not Kyle (I knew the prediction was out there... a very Tolkien-esque prediction) but I thought you would find a way around it somehow (and I'm sure when dealing with the mysteries and energies of the universe there is a way to do it and make it work).
I can't wait to read GL and see what happens after the dust settled.
I repeat: Fantastic.
And whoever gave you one star for that story is absolutely clueless.

It's all well and good giving us one star, but tell us why you've given us that one star. I believe I know who gave it, and I can kind of guess the reasons, but come on dude, speak up please.

amazing work. Great to see the Corps back and it was done in an amazingly spectacular way. Although... every once in a while it's nice to have a Hollywood (happy ending). Especially a character that has been used so badly in the last five years over at DC proper. However, it did not distract from the story at all.
Great job everyone.
Charlie, between this and Flash, you're name is going to become synonymous with Doctor Death. LOL!

I love the fact that people are rating it without any feedback whatsoever! All of you know as well as I do how much fans like to piss and moan to each other... I just don't get the lack of feedback here!

Just read all of this in one sitting, and I have to say I am impressed. I'm not afraid to tell Charlie when I think he's gone wrong, but he and his collaborators have crafted a fun, exciting, tight-plotted dramatic and ultimately fist-pumpingly cool story (“Have a great infinity. Jackass.”). YES. The controversial death at the end was poignant and felt appropriate--- not gratuitous to me. But let's be honest: does anyone really doubt this character will be back? I mean, he's alive years later in Gotterdammerung, right ;D? Five stars! But, damn it, soon I'm going to penalize issues by withholding a star for no covers! This is the DC2, we had this figured out on Day One! Kudos for a great mini, and the wrap-up of a story 2+ years in the making!

I mean, he's alive years later in Gotterdammerung, right ;D? It would take two seconds to bring him back... You're dealing with cosmic energies of infinite proportions! I'm not worried!

That was a great ending. It was sad to see Kyle go but then again he died a good death. Looking forward to all of th GL Goodness that you guys will bring our way this year! Keep up the excellent work! If you ask me, the Kid died a great death...he saved the universe and brought back the Corps! Thanks for reading! Glad you enjoyed the ride...I can promise (as GL 19 shows) the ride is just beginning! I have no ability to respond. From the man who created this mythos on the DC2, I am actually speechless as to how to respond. Thanks, so very much. And I can promise, GL will continue to be maybe not what you thought it was going to be, but it will be amazing. The Corps isn't back, but it is well on the way. Keep looking over at GL! Glad you liked it, and I can honestly say that this has been a collaberation in the truest sense of the word. I have LOVED working with, arguing with, and getting excited with Charlie! This last issue was a joy to work on, and the line you pointed out was more fun to write than it had any business being. Sorry to the low-star people, but please don't get mad at Charlie. I campaigned for the death from the beginning of the mini, and while I am usually of the camp that no one has to explain his or her own creative decision making, I will be happy to discuss the merits or problems of the decision with ANYONE over PM or email. I respect your opinions, but I also stand by the work. I hope this doesn't sour ya'll on the GL experience, because Charlie, this team, and I have poured alot into this whole mythos we're building. If we lost readers over it, God Bless, and I hope you continue to support the tales on the DC2 you like. For everyone who's staying on board, 2009 is going to be bumpy. Bumpy, but fun as hell. Hold on tight.

Kudos for a great mini, and the wrap-up of a story 2+ years in the making! Oh, about the cover thing...that's my bad! I was getting so impatient to keep the story rolling, I told Charlie the story would stand without the cover. I'll practice a little more restraint in the future.

ArtTeach has very kindly offered to help fill some back issue cover gaps, and this is one of the latest he's provided for the site! Great to have this issue finally covered all pretty like!

Just read the mini-series and was impressed. I like the idea of the Corp. I like GLs as members of teams. Somehow, I have never been able to enjoy the GLs in their own series. The Green Lantern/Green Arrow from the Silver Age is the last GL series I could read. So I came in expecting to not like the series.
This said it was really good read. The characters are well written. The evil is truly evil. You feel a sense of danger to the characters. It built up to an excellent conclusion. The death of Kyle was handled well. He went out with a bang and it felt logical to the story. There is a difference between a story when a character dies and a story written for a character to die. This character death did not feel forced.
Kudos on a good tale.

Thanks, Teach. The stories I've had a hand in when it comes to DC2's Green Lantern are the ones I'm proudest of-- I just checked and realised I've been the ongoing writer since 2009-- and I don't have any plans to stop! Liberation was a great collaboration between Dan, Scott and I. I'm not sure who initiated the event, but I know Scott always had plans to "liberate" the Green Lantern Corps after the occupation started in Tales of the Green Lantern Corps #10. I might do a bundle of his back-up stories at some point, Life During Wartime or some such . They're well worth a look-in. Dan took the lead as it was his title at the time, and in my opinion the conclusion was the right balance of cosmic, epic and personal-- being given the opportunity to be part of this meant a lot to me. There were quite a few writers and artists in this period that I was proud to work with, and he's probably near the top of that list on the writer-side. If you're interested in checking out any other Green Lantern stories, I've recently bundled up all the issues into "trades" in the Green Lantern Arc Reader thread. Each bundle has a short synopsis, and my run starts with #31, while Dan's ran between #22 and #30. I had a blast working on the book back when I started and I still do. Currently working on #62!
