Quick note from the author here:
The first portion of the story 'from the journal of Vidar' has been altered from the original post last night. It's something I re-wrote about a month ago, but I must have forgotten to forward on to our EIC. It wasn't anything Earth shatteringly different... just a preference!
My apologies to anyone that read it!
On with the show!
Please, please, please... let me know what you thought!

#$%^&&^$&$$*$*&!@##!!!!!!!! Ah, you only hurt the ones you love... Sorry, Scott! You did forward the new prologue onto me, and I thought I had the right version, but I guess I copied when I should have pasted! This is the second time I've done ya wrong... *Hangs head* Do I have to surrender my Legion flight ring?

No need! I'm just gonna stick you on monitor duty! ;D
It would help if I didn't send you 3-4 different re-writes too!

LOL. I thought it was just me that did that.
Great stuff, Scott. I found it interesting that the history books seemed to have left out a certain red haired Green Lantern.
Can't wait for part two.

Wow... thanks Chuck! You really seemed to put alot of thought & effort into that well-worded critique! If you are unsure what to think of it... stick with it. This was an introduction to the characters and the state of the Universe in the 30th Century... next issue (in 2 short weeks!) things heat up quite a bit. And there is a reason for everything... Are you a fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes at all?

Afraid to say no... But I'm liking the way you've rounded out Vidar's personality. Dangerously a thrill seeker, total commitment to his job.
How was that?

Little better!
I plan on making you a fan of the Legion! And Vidar...
I delve a bit further into his personality in the upcoming issues & just how his commitment to the Corps & family differ.
And have you ever wondered why the Green Lantern's were never really present in the 30th century? Or perhaps you weren't aware that they weren't present... either way... stay tuned!

Enjoying this little taste of the 30th century...and while Starlord noticed that Guy wasn't mentioned, I noticed that Rayner WAS. Considering what I've been hearing behind the scenes, I find that VERY interesting! Oh, when will we get a LSH book, so I can enjoy your take on it on a monthly basis instead of sprinkled here and there? WHEN?!?

(does happy dance, then reads the bottom line of the cover) "Tomorrow's Heroes, Today!" Cool! Do you have an Interlac font? And if so, will you be abusing it? ;D

I'm now sure that the entire LEGION has joined Jonah, Dick and Vic at the obsessive fandom drinks table, but they ain't getting any beer out of it... BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL UNDERAGE!
If anyone gets my reference, I'll exalt 'em.

Yep, that's me: well-versed in the 19th and 30th centuries, but totally oblivious to what's happening in the 21st century! ;D And I didn't spill any beans about you-know-what, Ramon, they're all right here. (holds out a tin can full of magic plot beans and rattles it) We shall never speak of this again!
