I read it. It's funny and a good read, but I sincerely thought it was missing something. It wasn't like the others. I believe that the parts intended to be funny were trying to hard. Although I have to admit, I chuckled once (I can't remember where), and for me, that's a lot.
Four stars. I WANT THIS TO BE MONTHLY!!!

It was good, but I think you were trying to hard at some points man. Don't get me wrong, I loved a lot of the character moments and the humour was solid; but sometimes it came off as forced. It was mostly with Power Girl and Cha'a that it seemed like that though. As usual Booster rocked, you had to feel for Airwave and what he was going through, and I even laughed at Steel sometimes. All in all, I'd say four stars.
But hey, keep this title going. You've got a solid handle on your characters, and even the things I critiqued I still enjoyed.

I may be responsible for forcing some jokes... or it was Chris.... or Charlie... by this point you can never really tell. ;D I was really curious of the Harry bit was whiny, he's going to go through some changes coming up here and i wanted to break him down a little. Thanks for your guys' response though. I am sorry I didn't get it done sooner as the lateness was mainly my fault, the other two writers are very disciplined chaps when it comes to writing and they can do it very well without me around... but alas... i wouldn't let them even if they wanted! Stick around, unlike ten months ago, there is stuff planned for next issue and you don't have to wait till next January for an update

So the gang is back! Long live the Powers crew! Funny in parts, a tad disjointed in just barely a few little parts, and a fun read. Once again DC2's very own three stooges pull off a rollicking adventure! ;D

Thanks B. I didn't actually know this would be up so soon. I didn't see that cover until now and I really like it. If Ramon hadn't already taken the blame for the lateness(read: hiatus) I would pipe up and take the blame. But, Ramon did so it's not my damn fault.

Ah, but the Suicide Squad doesn't like running marathons. Especially Waller.....
Another fine issue of Power Girl's Cleav--I mean, Powers, Inc.
I enjoyed the robot.

Ehh... it was alright. The jokes were a bit stale, forced as a few have said... Not a whole lot actually happens for most of the issue (except for some tedious dialogue and patronizing exposition), but it was nice to catch up with some of the team (who the hell is Ch'ah, and do I have to read the 25 page P.I. Crisis tie-in to find out?), though I could do without Prism (or whatever the hell her name is) and Looker. Power Girl, on the other hand, is a true star! Skeets and Booster were my favorite. Burt Bacharach! Classy 'bot, that Skeets! The Uberbot was lame. You guys owe me money for that. I was more interested in the straighter-played scenes. The epilogues were the best part, but I have to wonder--- why bring back Thaddeus Brown when no one has done a damn thing with Scott Free on the team?!? It was good to see the team back in action, though. Here's hoping we see another issue soon (although, I'm starting an office pool in the back room, if anyone wants a piece of that action ).

It's true, not much happened... if you call setting up perhaps the biggest supervillain DC2 has ever seen ever of all time then yeah... i guess you could say nothing happens... except that... and the team getting back together after having been away for a year.... and umm.. I'm sure other things happen... just nothing cool like Lex Luthor having sex with Lois Lane and Supergirl freebasing on Metamorpho.
HA! I will take credit for the Burt Bacharach remark. He is insanely classy, Dave and let you never forget it.
I'm not sure what you mean by the straighter-played scenes, do you mean the ones that weren't intended to be funny or...? I dunno.
A pool? I'll get in on that action. I still need to get back my money I lost when I thought JSA would go on to have three issues... boy was I stupid. And then I had the audacity to go and bet again for Adventures of Hawkman, why didn't someone stop me I musta been thinking crazy!

It was a disjointed mess, sure, but you even found a nice way to tell us that by sandwiching it in between compliments!

You don't even wanna know what happens to Plastic Man.... I knew you would bring those up! Forget the 40+ other issues I've written, I'll never live down those two...! ;D

Forgot to mention the cover!
Probably the best Ramon has done in months! Redeemed the issue for me in the end! Brought this issue from 3 to 4 stars!
Too bad about the Uberbot, though... Gone to that well once too many times...

umm... I plotted some of the characters, I KNOW what happened to Plastic Man... aw, thanks D. I was pretty happy with the way the cover came out too. I went to no well... that was Charlie...

(I actually liked this issue more than I'm letting on. I'm just giving you guys a hard time because you made me wait so long to read a new issue.) (Except the Uberbot. That really was lame.)

(I agree, Uberbot was hardly funny when I thought of it the first time we used it much less when he got brought back as a major threat, but we had a German translator so we couldn't resist)
(talking like this accomplishes what, exactly?)

(Really?)
(Well in that case, I agree with you, this issue was HORRIBLE. I had nothing to do with this issue at all, it was 100% them. Complete garbage!)
(Not really but since they can't read it, I'll say whatever I please)

(Well, no... they can read this, they just can't hear us....
Wait! Does no one else hear voices when they come on the site...?)
Charlie, stop yelling at me to read Action Comics!

No, you aren't alone, I hear that voice too. It's whiny and British.

Well guys, since it's been quite a while from the last issue, I think you did a nice job picking up and moving it along. Yeah, some of the jokes seemed forced, but that's also in the nature of the sense of humor of the reader and how they perceive them. The tone was light and enjoyable and of course, I'm very partical to a number of the characters on the team. I love seeing Oberon being used! The cover was really good... the look on Power Girl's face seems to be annoyance at how flashy Booster looks with his toothy grin Great stuff.

I laughed until I stopped. Good to see P.I. back, now let's see more.
Good job, Powers team!
