I'm so glad Wonder Woman is back on track, and with Mark Bowers finishing up this story arc, what better way to move into the future?
Whilst I got lost some times during the story, I loved it. Steve Trevor's selfless sacrafice, the T-Rex, Hippolyta, EVERYTHING fit perfectly. And Rip Hunter! Yay. I love me some Rip. Anyway, I can't wait to read #15, because if this issue is anything to go by, the future looks good for Wonder Woman!

an excellent conclusion to the story that was left hanging. I loved how much Steve Trevor was involved, and the wrap up between him and Diana was perfect, for me.
Not being a fan of Rip Hunter's, it was still very cool to see him used in a logical and fun way.
And the whole mother/daughter battle was probably my favorite part. Great job, and an awesome cover!

I have to admit that I was sitting in trepidation about how you'd react to Rip, considering you seem to be his custodian around here, so I'm glad you liked it (also amazed that you didn't shamelessly plug Action Comics #17 out in a few weeks time where Rip will also be appearing). Also, hopefully the future looks even better for Wonder Woman than this issue suggests, because next issue we get a brand new writer in Jay Benne (aka Jay-Z, so it looks like we go from Marky Mark to Jay-Z just like an iPod in shuffle mode).

Thanks for the kind words, Brian. Steve Trevor's major involvement, along with Rip's, were all courtesy of Sam, although, knowing me as well as you do, you'll realize the Amazonian catfight was all mine. Also, I should echo what a great cover it is, Roy, and I'm glad the readers are finally getting a chance to see it after all these months.

Thanks, as fun as this cover was to do. I wish you had sent me the ideas, for this issue! Diana and her mother wrestling while Steve is trying to hold back a t-rex with his cane! I hope I am still on for WW covers. This was a nice tie up to the dangling story line. Time is always tricky but I think everything was pretty much self conatained so there shouldn't be any chronal fallout. (like that term? go ahead you can use it.) Thank you for putting this title back on track. Looking forward to Jay-Z's run. (ipod on shuffle....you did this issue just so you could use that didn't you.)

I hope I am still on for WW covers. Now that you mention what would have been on the cover, I wish I'd sent you the ideas too. I also hope you're still on for WW covers (hopefully John will confirm it in a subsequent post). Thanks. Yeah, chronal fallout's a great term. Watch out for it in this month's Teen Titans. Well, the thanks should go to my editor, John, who's spent way more time on getting WW back on course than me. The next two issues are already done, so hopefully things will be back on track again. Yep.

I got the Doctor Who reference, of course. And the story itself was entertaining and fast paced.

Jay-Z comes from well my name. And my first net name which will go unnamed here for the sake of driving mystery buffs insane. Muahaha.

Mark deserves some special recognition for not only finishing off a dangling storyline, but finishing it off in style!
This issue stands on it's own as a great WW story, and was a whole lotta fun to read! It was great to see Hippolyta in action again, I loved the Kanga reference, and Steve's musings as he took his "final flight" were poignant but not schmaltzy.
As I'm a big fan of the character, I am very excited that this title is back on track. Can't wait to see what Jay-Z does with it!
(Oh! And if this issue has taught us anything, get your cover artist more involved! Roy's like A-1 Steak sauce: he will craft a cover that will make a great story greaterer! As it is, terrific cover, Roy!)

Thanks for the kind words, David. Glad you liked it and it's reassuring to know that my Kanga reference wasn't wasted.
