finally got a chance to read this, and just like the first two parts, what a blast! I'm still enthralled by this world that you are creating, both meta-human and the world around them.
Great last chapter. Nice surprise of a character that makes absolute sense in this "other" world of yours.
Keep up the great work, cause you do have a fan who will keep coming back to this!

Thanks man, releived to hear it. I was worried that this part might drag a bit. I was also worried that since it had been so long since the last part that I might have lost some readers. Glad you're still here.
And isn't that Craig Cermak cover just the awesomeness?

From the cover (which is jaw-dropping -- does Craig ever have a bad day?) to the final shot of Ravager in charge of her own pirate fleet, this issue rocked hard. I'm amazed at the depth you give these characters, who are familiar on the surface but totally new people underneath. What a difference a war makes.
Titans: Resistance is the new crack, and I'm hooked through the bag. ;D

I always find it fascinating when an issue has very little development plot wise but manges to give tons of story and character development. I saw that you were worried that this issue would drag on? Far from it. The focus was on the insights of both Terra and Kai-Al and really made this issue. I really like how each issue you give the reader just a little more background on this other universe you created. If I had to bet, I would say that you have so much background info in notes or what not, that you could spend an entire issue or two doing a history of the universe type tale. I for one would be anxious to read it. A few other things that popped into my head while reading: Is the Prez named after the Libertarian candidate in the 2004 election? Also I am wondering if a speedster will be joining the Resistance and who it might be? I was very impressed with the writing (as always) and how well thought out everything is. This was well worth waiting for. I much prefer a story that is well done and takes longer then something that is done so fast and has glaring flaws. The appearance of Rose at the end was freakin' great! Love that girl! Loved the cover and loved the story! I think Susan and I will be sharing the same dealer!

Not written down notes, no. But I do have tons of stuff in my head.
Issue #3 was done some time ago, but the Elseworlds department had suffered some....upheval of late. I thank MarkyMark for coming in and clearing that particular mess.
Er....you caught that political reference did you.......oh dear *runs for his life before the entire site comes after him*

This series just keeps getting better and better!
New cover artist Craig Cermak hit a homerun on the first page, and the story just kept batting in the runners!
Again, I enjoyed the bit with the Empress (I can't decide if I love to hate her, or hate to love her!) and the focus on Kai-Al (imagine, a universe full of potential supermen and women--- it's kinda scary)--- especially when her inner monologue cribs from the bard himself ("A palpable hit." indeed)!
The team is coming together quite nicely, and seems to consist of some very unorthodox members--- Terra, Robin, Green Lantern, Supergirl (woman?) and, presumably, the Pirate Queen of the last page. What a great reveal! And I love that you included Wintergreen!
The surprises keep coming in this series, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Who else will join the growing resistance? I think Susan said it best: the new crack, and I'm hooked, too! When can we expect our next fix, Jay?

I have actually had all six issues done for some time. With Mark helming the Elseworlds department, as well as his other editorial duties, things are looking up for timely issue releases from here on out. (That is nothing against TonyClifton, mind you, who was kind enough to green light this project in the first place and put out the first two issues. It was after he stepped down that things got....chaotic.)
Your notes on the Empress are intesting. She is very much Terra I, while her daughter is mostly Terra II. Or to put it another way, she is Trigon and Terra is Raven. Neither of those comparisons is exact, of coruse. But you get the gist.
As for the roster, all I will say is that there is a surprise at the end of issue six , which will be expanded on if any sequels are greenlit. ;D

I should be back in time to take over for the sequals. I just noticed (cause I havent been on as much as I'd like) that Mark had taken over for Elseworlds and I gotta say thinaks to Mark for that. I've had some unexcpected chains of events but I should be back full time in the next month or two.
As far as the story I am loving it. It's been awhile but I remember reading the outline before this series started and it just keeps getting better from here. I'm not not trying to pile Mark up anymore than he is so I will just say that after I can get back to editing here this will be an ongoing for as long Arcalian feels like doing it.

Great issue! I loved the emergence of Rose at the very end. Heh. I didn't expect that coming. I don't really know which way is which for this story... but I am sure loving it so far. This is the best one so far.. I can see why it's one of the longest on-going series in Elseworlds.
Great stuff, Jay... ***** from me.
The art is just tremendous.. no doubt Craig is one of the true masters of his craft.
