Series is still a lot of fun, I love the tone that's established. THe fight in the air was brisk and exciting, and the whole story juts feels cold and wintery, if that makes any sense XD I think the intercutting fights could have been spaced out a little, it got just a little confusing jumping back and forth paragraph to paragraph. Steph continues to shine on this side of the action as one of my favorites, and I loved the Cain that you set up. Gonna be a fantastic conclusion we're racing toward

I really enjoyed reading this issue. Connecting Black Canary's moment with the one from Issue#2 was perfect and I liked how Black Canary and Spoiler are forming a superhero/sidekick relationship. Doesn't seem like Nightwing is doing much though.
I'm really interested in how this is going to connect with the other set of heroes.

Great issue. So far I’m liking the character development of all the characters especially Carla, it seems she can get on everybody’s nerves. Also I can’t wait for more from Kasumi and Speedy. Kid Eternity as leader was an excellent idea as the commands felt natural coming from him.
Now we have to wait a whole month for the next issue. I wonder how all of this is going to connect with Nightwing and his group.

Good issue. Nice team-building issue, considering the last two were a giant fight scene. I like the team and I hope to see more of them in the future. Keep up the good work.

Thanks very much for commenting, guys. This mini-series has been fun to do, James and I enjoyed writing it for the old UDCU, and we've enjoyed the work in editing it for this site as well. Granted, the original set-up for the series had the this mini-series actually standing as the first three issues of Ultimate Outsiders and Ultimate Teen Titans, and playing with the readers' expectations of the team rosters (by writing mixed-up casts between us), but this is working out nicely too, I hope.
Hopefully, we're getting lots of good character moments and development mixed in nicely with what's a rather straight-forward "summer blockbuster" action movie plot. And speaking of which, next month, the wrap-up in an over-sized, over-stuffed extravaganza that I feel is one of my strongest efforts in writing a big, huge climactic battle scene. For that fact, it also has my favorite moment written for Kid Eternity yet. So check it out, and thanks for reading!
Take care
Don

Loved Mia's bonding with Kasumi, that scene is pretty adorable. Certainly looking forward to the supersize special =D You're absolutely getting a lot of good development and character mixed in with the action and it's a great time reading the whole series
