I'm slow catching up on titles so this is later than I'd like but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this one specifically for two reasons:
1. Big horkin' battle issue. Love 'em!
2. The Shadow returns
I'm one of the first folks to applaud issues with character development and personal crisis that make us care about them but, man, it's great to just get a good old fashioned slugfest every now and then. And there was plenty to like here. It was nice to see Paula start down the road which should eventually lead to her reformation and I enjoyed the Johnny getting swallowed and the Jonah and the whale reference. That was funny and it was a very clever plan to deny power.
The Shadow... well... I'm just a HUGE fan of his. And that was a super cool twist on his mental powers to really mess up Craddock's ability to go ethereal. I'm not sure how often he'll show up in this title but it is always a interesting experience when he does.
Keep up the good work and I'll be back for the next issue to see how the membership situation shakes out!
