We're all of the same sort, and I know that you received one present (or a couple!) that typifies our habits...
... and mine was a remote controlled Dalek.
I know.
So what did you get?

I got Season One and Two of Doctor Who (my first foray into that particular corner of geekery), but I think my geekiest gifts were either my Hawkman t-shirt or my Darth Vader head alarm clock (the time is displayed in his eye lenses and he wakes you up to various phrases in James Earl Jones' voice, like "The Force is strong with this one," or "He will join us or die, my master").
All-in-all, a geekfully-good Christmas ;D.

I got an Indigo Power Ring and Battery and a six pack of legal pads (for people who think that one is NOT geeky, ask my friends why I wanted them for). I also got a Smurfs book (The Smurfette adventure) with my Doctor Who Classics omnibus. Take care Don

I got a bag that's covered with images of Marvel Comics covers, and a couple of books about obscure old comic books that I really should get round to reading.

BAM! Also, CONTEXT: www.sword-buyers-guide.com/black-prince-sword.htmlI'm not entirely sure if it's geeky, awesome, or terrifying, but my wife got me the Black Prince sword from Darksword Armory. It's 100% real, combat-ready, and sharp as hell. I have no concept of how to use it properly, but I intend to learn.

Mostly we get money and gift cards for Christmas (my family knows better than to guess with us), but we did turn the majority of that into Blu-Ray discs for our new player (our "to us/from us" gift). Looney Tunes, Incredible Hulk, the Rocky collection...oh, and Day of the Daleks on plain ol' DVD. Sadly, our nice flatscreen TV busted last week, so it's hard to enjoy these goodies on the lil' 20-inch we're using until it gets fixed.

My wife got me a BAZZZZINGA T-Shirt... (Big Bang Theory). Oh and she got herself a matching one... Yes, we are now the great matching geeks on the block...
>.<
We still have Orthodox Christmas coming up and little does she know I got her a T-Shirt with a goblin and a 20-sided dice on it. Mwahahahaha.
p.s. Yes we celebrate BOTH the catholic Christmas, and the Orthodox Christmas....

For Christmas of 2009, I got two things I love: A 160GB iPod Classic and the Superman Movie Collector's Tin. This year I got a Green Lantern T-Shirt and Star Wars Force Unleashed for PS3. My girls know what I like...gotta love them.
