So some running thoughts, then a conclusion.
I'm...not too sure what this means. Ares is reflecting that he's seen worse than silk, that he's done worse things than cover cave walls with silk, and it is his duty and pleasure to do worse things than cover cave walls with silk?
I get the gist of what you want from this (that Ares likes doing terrible things, and that silk covering cave walls is weird), it's just really strangely phrased.
It might seem cliche, but getting the walkthrough on Diana's most notable mythical tools is always nice, with a good, plot-driven demonstration of her bracelets and lasso.
I like the 'Agent Prince' persona. Steve and Diana have quite a fun dynamic here (though Diana seems a little reserved for now, so it's mostly Steve expressing his character and personality), and having them paired up a men in black spooks is a fun way to play this.
It's a good issue one for your title. I'm enjoying the addition of a paranormal military investigation outfit like A.R.G.U.S. to the expected mythology flavouring that Wonder Woman has. You give us a good taster of Diana's super-heroics, of her and Steve's life at A.R.G.U.S., of the mythological world she comes from, and the hook at the end of the issue isn't too bad at all.
Good start to the title.

Wow, I actually don't remember writing that line. Weird place for a character moment. She's got fun toys. Next issue we get another one! Diana's and Steve have a neat dynamic, and that's something I'm going to try to play with over the course of the series. Thanks for reading and thanks for commenting! -UDC

You seem to have a knack for character work in a confined space (Steve Trevor here and Raven Red in Global Guardians are the stand-out examples)...we're only one issue in, but it feels like there's a rounded character there. Oh, on the Raven Red note I might send you a PM to chat about an upcoming issue of Inc. where it cross into GG territory...and where's issue #2? Surely not still with the editor? I'm digressing, I'll PM you later. No worries at all. It's really awesome seeing Earth A starting out so strong, and I just hope I can match the good work Alex and yourself are putting in to it.
