Let us know what you think of this (belated) holiday omnibus!
To those wondering about the 'Part One' note, stay tuned! Because from now until New Years there may well be a couple more stories added to the issue!

I loved Ellen's story revealing the secret life of Gordon's dad so much, I went searching around the Internet afterward to read up on the background that inspired it! In over two decades of reading Bat-books, this is the first I've heard of it. Great job.

Thanks, Susan! I haven't been inside an LCS for years. My favorite store went mail order some time ago and they'd send me a spreadsheet each week with the Diamond offerings. And lo and behold, one day, there was something coming from Sanctum Press with a blurb that went something like "It's up to Commissioner Gordon to save the day!" So I arrived at the only logical conclusion possible for someone too lazy to Google: Sanctum is a DC imprint like Wildstorm or Vertigo. I ordered the book and discovered what happens when you assume things. And then I found out that it wasn't about the Commissioner Gordon I knew and loved, but it was still a good read. And then I set about trying to find a way to connect the two Gordons. Glad you enjoyed!

Agreed, the Whisperer was a very interesting discovery to make in a very finely written story from Ellen.
With the holidays swiftly being put behind us, I'm left with a couple of half-finished Christmas-themed stories that were meant for this issue. So I'll either finish them and post them fashionable late or hold onto them for an emergency.
