Is there a site like this (DC2) where I can post Marvel Fan fiction?

We used to have Marvel 2.0, but it didn't take and was abandoned. And then that happened a second time with similar results. I'd be willing to try it again, but I doubt there's enough interest in it.

Obviously I'd love to write me some X-Men if the chance came about, but right now it doesn't seem likely. I rather liked the idea someone had awhile back (I was shifting through old threads) where there'd be areas for Marvel fan-fic, Image/Dark Horse/etc. fan-fic, and possibly some 'creator-owned' original work as well. Either way, here's one of the older attempts. If enough people are willing to try at it, maybe it'd be worth trying to launch another Marvel2 (and maybe I'd be willing to get involved in that), but I think the main concern would be that it would divide the efforts of the few creative members we have here.

Fantomas hit it on the head, why those earlier attempts failed. There aren't enough resources and others tried to remedy that by trying to poach or claim they were exclusive to one site (which was weird since it was supposed to be a sister site) and it eventually came to having to cut ties and each site being its own thing.
There are a bunch of Marvel fanfic groups out there, but I don't have any of their links anymore. You can always post stuff on fanfiction.net if you can't find a home.

It is my *eventual* plan to do a TT story where the fact that the Wildstorm-verse, or at least a version of it, is shown to still exist. That;s entirely different from doing a Wildstorm 2 site, of course.

I never understood why the Marvel2 site/s weren't formed as complimentary or an expansion of this one. Or why they weren't folded back in like DC3 when they couldn't sustain their own traffic. Same for the independent spin-off site as well, which I thought was a really cool idea. Could have served to strengthen the stronghold of fandom this site has been, instead of being a sundering competition. But things have been what they have been.
I think that now might be an ideal time to capitalize on the renewed energy behind Marvel Now - a boat that sorta got missed with the New 52 relaunches in my opinion. I don't know the best structure or form for it, but it seems a crime to not have a space for the creative folks here to flex those Marvel muscles.

But I'd stress that if we were to do so, we'd really want to advertise, advertise, advertise it. On dA, on fanfic.net, etc. Try and bring new people in, readers or contributors. Oh, and dibs on the X-Men, whatever happens.

Is there a site like this (DC2) where I can post Marvel Fan fiction? There's a list of comic book fanfiction site links over at the Heroesfanfic Yahoo Group: groups.yahoo.com/group/heroesfanfic/linksIt includes lots of Marvel sites, though I don't know which of the sites are still running. Looking at the recent posts from the group, there's a Marvel Anthology site that still appears to be active and taking submissions.

Traitorous though it may be, I have to say the Marvel/DC Anthology sites have a fantastic lay-out.
I mean. Wow.

If we're calling dibs on Marvel books, then I lay claim to the Fantastic Four.

I want to do a series called Ghost Rider and the Midnight Sons. Plus it might be nice to write Spiderman 2099.

I used to write the Punisher on the first Marvel2 way back in the day.
I'd love few things more than to write Spider-Man or Daredevil, so I'd definitely support this if there was a strong enough backing for it.
