Anyone else super excited about this game next week? I've been hyped up for months now - so much so that it's become inspiration to start up a roleplaying game. And as I've run out of people IRL to discuss it with, why not open it here? XD

I reserved my copy of Y yesterday, though I'm no more jazzed about it than any other Pokemon game.
Also, sure, I could do a Poke-themed text-based RPG.

I haven't actually been excited about the series since all the way back to Crystal. But they told me there were faeries in it, and you could pet your pokemon like nintendogs, and I was so there.

In my hearts of hearts I truly believe there have only been three Pokemon games: Blue, Red and-- my favourite-- Yellow. But from what I've seen about the new games about the X and Y evolution, it certainly sounds interesting. If they were keeping the same mechanics as the first three it'd be a dead franchise by now, so they're doing the right thing. Also, I was talking to my friend and she explained that one of the new Pokemon is a key chain, and I knew then that they're really starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel. But as long as they're still kinda innovating, it sounds cool.

Dropped out of Pokemon...Crystal point, I guess. Tried Sapphire but really couldn't get interested.
LeafGreen was a good chance to replay and get nostalgic.
We need some DC2 rps.

I think I finished Diamond and Pearl and played a bit of Black & White.
My daughter is a Pokemon-Head, I'm pretty sure we'll have X & Y.
She just brought home a Pokeball from Cosmania this weekend.
