Seeing this whets the appetite for more Earth-1 Wonder Woman from you, Alex! How are you able to keep both mythologies / characters / threads separate? I'd be terrified of accidentally using a character from Earth-A casually in Earth-1!

Seeing this whets the appetite for more Earth-1 Wonder Woman from you, Alex! How are you able to keep both mythologies / characters / threads separate? I'd be terrified of accidentally using a character from Earth-A casually in Earth-1! Easy, having Scott Cook write Earth A Diana. This is all him. He came to the table with really good ideas that make this version of Diana distinct and separate from her Earth-1 version, but still keep her familiar. Those differences allow me, as the overseer of this Earth and the writer of Earth-1 Wonder Woman (which will be out this Wednesday - shameless plus), to keep the two different. Earth A Diana is at a different point in her life than Earth-1 Diana and they have different supporting casts and issues that they are dealing with. But I do worry about stuff seeping over into Earth-1 because Scott is so damn good. The cover to this issue will also be out this week. My apologies to Scott and everyone. Earth A is going to see a bunch of activity soon, so stay tuned! |
