Don, you know I'm really looking forward to digging into this! It's a hell of an issue-- well deserving of the Quarterly label-- so I'm going to need a slab of time to get into it! I'll pencil in this weekend, and let you know what I think, fingers crossed!

Sometimes I think I forget how awesome Danger Trail is. Such a great and varied cast of characters and so much interconnected. The Tear Collector was creepy as hell, totally the kind of villain I'd want to find use for some day if I thought I could do it half as well.
I loved the scene of them all meeting each other. "You're a talking gorilla." And I loved remembering all the little things that get alluded to and referred back. There's so much continuity in here and so much to keep track of, but I mean that only in the best way.

Thanks for the read, Sam. I love the Tear Collector as well, and at some point maybe I'll trot his brother, THe Fear Collector, out as well. But not for a while, this first year has way too much other cool stuff to get through first.
This is a great bunch of characters in an awesome ensemble, and it's always fun to remind each other, the readers, and myself, about this from time to time. We have more Frankenstein's Monster coming up next issue, as well as the return of an old favorite long-missing from the series. And the pre-Crimson Avenger Lee Travis and pre-Miss America Joan Dale too. Check it out in April!
Take care Don
