Glad to see the Outsiders back, curious to find out what happened in the gap. The story took a while to get going (or maybe it just took me a while to get back up to speed) but built to a great cliffhanger. Looking forward to future issues.

No actually it felt like it took me a while to get up to speed too, so you weren't alone. The gap is going to be addressed in the New Outsiders Mini called: "The Dark Days". Because let's face it, everything up to that point was rainbows and lollipops! And thank you very much for reading it.

Anyway, glad to have the Outsiders back. They're not exactly the ones I remember, but I'm sure I'll grow to love them. I like the inclusion of Black Condor; I always thought he was cool, so it's nice to see him get some play in the hands of a good writer. Looking forward to what comes next!

Oh yes, it did. It did. But I promise everyone I've got a time travel story planned that will be a total three sixty from where this series is going. Thank you very much for reading and glad you want another issue. There are some great plans for this book, and have no fear, the team you grew to know will return in the mini and almost all questions will actually be answered. Or at least the ones I remember. Thank you again. I'm actually very excited about this book but be on the look out for the next Green Arrow since that will wrap up some story lines, start some new ones and I promise you at least 2 major shake ups that will have future consequences for the entire DC2 Universe. Really?! Honest!?

Good solid first issue setting up what promises to be a great cast of characters. I think my favorite part was the high-flying optimism and excitement from Animal Man (a great c-lister with great powers) after so much "doom-and-gloom" and insinuated tragedy from the previous scenes and characters. Such a great juxtaposition and offering a glimpse of how this title can get some bright points as well.
Good job, Brian, and keep 'em coming.

A new Outsiders series?!? And Kate is still there? Count me in.
Been a few years since I last read something here on the DC2. But I was totally hyped to see Brian writing the Outsiders again.
I had absolutely no problem getting back into the characters. Some nice mysteries are set up about what happened to them and I can't wait to find them out.
Looking forward to the next issue.
Sad that there is no cover.

Good grief, this was a rough ride. Gripping story, lots of teases for what happened during the gap-- the final battle, the funeral, the team break-up-- that tie nicely into what David wrote for the special last year, and a great new hook for the ongoing. Just what's going on with Anarky? What's going on with Brother Blood? And a cover from Boris! What a way to launch a title. Good work, guys.
