First, I think this a very complicated story. Probably with all of the threads going on (Bruce Police Officer, Powers scheme, Selina and Helena, Dick as Batman, Hush with the bounty on Batman, The interviews, the JL membership question, Batgirl's and Tim's plotlines)it has more going than 6 issues of a DC or 6 years of a marvel comic. This is awesome and I think it is leading to something really good. It does make everything work on a slow burn and I would love to see some of the plotlines speed up a little. As it is I am enjoying the ride.
Bruce GCPD- You are doing a great portrayal of classic panic/ obsessive compulsive disorder. I would love to see the GCPD send Bruce to a CBT (cognitive behavior therapist) for some training in CBT methods. I do feel sometimes Bruce loses the logical, precise, efficient manner and voice I expect from Bruce. I then need to remind myself he is an older damaged unsure Batman. He just seems a little wordy sometimes.
The corporate espionage with Powers didn't get a lot of time in this chapter, but one a whole I have really enjoyed it. It has been the strongest written of all the storylines with some real threat and tension building.
Selina and Helena aare good comic relief and a good sounding board for Bruce. I have always pictured Selina being more proactive and a act more talk less kind of person. Would love to see her have a little more edge pushing Bruce. Someone needs to kick him in the backside and tell him he is Batman.
Superman was perfect. His manners, his nightcape, his unapologetically Midwest style, and his honesty and strength are really on display. You show his kindness but toughness. I like how you write big blue.
Gordon has really taken the Alfred role, but a blunter version of the mentor.
The news report was great. In my head I imagine what the news reports, tweets, and protest would be during this very public time. This would be like the OJ trail with reporters crawling all over the GCPD and Wayne manner.
In the end the story makes me think. Best complement I can give.

Thank you kindly! At this time, I was fortunate to have as a sounding board someone whose job description was basically "admin to the chief of the San Jose PD". She went through a (much!) milder version of what Bruce went through with the screening process. His wordiness can be explained a bit better when you realize that, at this point, he's been opening up to a therapist for nearly two years. He's never going to be completely open, but he's not as shut down as he used to be.
And yeah, the media circus had mostly died down by now. It's been more than six months since Bruce's release from Arkham. It was old news. But hearing that he's going to be going to the police academy? He's back on the radar.
Glad you're enjoying! And love the cover!
