Whoa.  I don't read Nightwing so I had no idea. This is really crazy. Hopefully, this means we'll see him more in Birds of Prey! But she's in Metropolis...he's in Bludhaven...I wonder how this works out. Oh well, I've wanted to pick up Nightwing for a while but decided to wait until OYL. I guess this thread has it's answer for Nightwing's opinion now.  |

Well, Babs and Dick were having a relationship before he proposed so distance probably isn't going to be too much of a problem.

Hi, I'm very new here! First, let me say that with all the conversation about it, I wouldn't expect the triangle to be resolved anytime soon, lol. But is it me, or did the discussion heat up after Geoff Johns started dropping hints about Dick and Kory in the lead up to Crisis? That said, I'm for Babs all the way, and not just because she's my favorite character and the reason I started reading comics to begin with. Ok, maybe that does cause a bit of bias, lol. BUT, I really like Kory too! I just think that placing her back with Dick would be a disservice to the character. I don't want her to mainly be known as his girlfriend, and that seems to be the case a bit. They were really cute back in the day, but I'm just of the opinion that it's done now and they should just be good friends. I'd like to see Kory established as a real powerhouse, and then fall for someone who is also more centered in space, because that could be lots of fun. And did I mention she deserves an identity apart from Nightwing?  Yeah, I probably believe that Babs and Dick are soulmates, especially sharing their rather "unique" upbringing hanging out in a cave! Though they haven't been handled well over at DC (imho), I'm still pulling for them to wind up together. If written well, they can really compliment one another. That, and the fangirl in me really, really wants them to have a happy ending, lol. BTW, great boards here! I really like it. |

Kory...
We've watched their relationship grow since the Teen Titans. It's now at its boiling point. Plus, Babs always stood out to me as the standoffish-avoid-personal-relationships-it-can-only-lead-to-trouble type.

I vote for Kory myself, they grew and changed together whilst Babs just stayed the same. Or shut herself in a room full of computers and second guessed the world's greatest detective and the world's 2nd cleverest man all the time. Doesn't she get it? He knows better.

If Bruce Jones did one thing right in his run, it was showing that Dick isn't keeping himself stuck in the past and looking for someone else. Sure, Cheyenne isn't right for him, but that's what dating is all about, figuring out who is right for you by going out with different people. If in 10 years or so Dick realizes that no one else is better for him than Babs (I don't really think he would go back to Kory), then that's fine, but he needs to look around more. |

I think that Batgirl, or Oracle, could defeat Starfire. It'd be a simple matter of goading Kory into doing something impulsive and thne taking advantage of that.

Love both the characters. But this is just like those people that say Batman would beat Superman in a fight: too many variables would have to fall the right way for Batman or Babs to win.
Warrior Princess with Super Powers versus Exceptional Human Fighter: the smart money is on Kory!
But I'd love to see the fight!
