This is the one question that is realy tough. I like both ladies but I really don't think that either of them is the one for Nightwing.
With that said I will go with Starfire. I've always liked the chemistry they've had together.
I also think that DC could do a real great triangle with those three if they wanted.

in regular continuity babs no doubt, kory is FAR too high maintinence and besides, there is always something erotic since she cant ummmm oh how to i put this... walk.
now in the DC2 that is a whole different story, babs is in las vegas so kory, cuz shes there. plus shes all over dick as it is... so to speak ;D

i guess the question is which universe is this poll for? Ummm... The characters in their most Platonic idealized form, I guess (not specific to the DCU or DC2). I'm gonna cast my vote for Kory. She and Dick went through a lot for each other, and their relationship was just so well written (IMO)--- unfortunately for Kory, however, she is not being written all that well now, whereas Babs is under the aegis of the DCU's best writer at the moment (though even Gail isn't doing a whole lot with the two of them yet)... |

I would have to say that I've always felt Babs & Dick were made for each other. Kory never seemed right to me... and her hair looked like a long orange afro.

I love the Babs/Dick relationship a lot, they have a lot of history there and everything....and they've had some great moments together as well, like in BoP 86...but there's something about the Dick/Kory relationship that draws me to it even more?
Frankly, what I'd love to see (well, not now that Huntress and Babs are friends) but Dick/Helena, because she's so completely the WRONG girl for him. (And no, I honestly don't count the Nightwing/Huntress mini because, IMHO, that really seemed more like Devin Mary Sue-ing Helena....)

I like Black Canary's idea of Dick and Helena. She runs much closer to Batman's type of personality and I can see that drawing him in. They are wrong for each other ,but in some ways they could be so right.

I'm willing to be converted, but can anyone point me to a Dick and Babs storyline to rival the Wolfman/Perez era of the New Teen Titans (particularly the first fifty issues, and up to the first arc in the Special Format series)?

It's a tough question. I can honestly see it either way. It's almost like asking who is better for Superman: Lois or Lana? They both work. I will have to say Starfire though. It was his first real romance back in the New Teen Titans and what I'll always think of. And I think they portray their relationship in a cute way on the cartoon. That's for Dick as he is currently. On down the road I could see him getting together with Barbara. As much as I like the two together I don't see Kory and Dick being long-term (like married and having kids). I figured sooner or later she would return to her planet and Dick would wind up with one of the Bat-chicas. But still, I voted for Kory.  |

The thing I noticed most about the Nightwing/Starfire relationship was the Kory brought Robin out of his shell, so to speak. I really feel that it was that relationship that made Dick become a man. He grew a lot and became more than just Robin. His personal life no longer included Bruce Wayne, guardian, but Koriand're, lover. The Titans made him grow from Robin to Nightwing, but his relationship with Kory made him grow from Dick to Richard.
When the relantionship fell apart, Dick went back into his shell and became much more like Batman (aloof and standoffish). Kory brings out the best in him.

I vote both. Let have Kory when with the Titans, and Barbara when on mission in Las Vegas. The guy is the hottest is the DCU, he deserves some cheatting, its not like he can help it!

I like that idea, Mara. I was thinking Dick and Babs in the Gotham years and now Starfire in the Titans, but it would develop into a tension-filled Love Triangle! Who does Dick love? Who is better for him? Milk it for all it's worth!!

Tension is part of Grayson's life. Which one does he love? Who cares! I don't even think that any of the Bat family can really really love somebody. Look at Bruce, everytime he "thinks" that he is in love, he ends up feeling better without.
So why don't we escape the drama with Dick, and let the guy have a blast. Not only with Babs and Kory, but with many others.

If I was writing Nightwing I would make him kiss Catwoman while he put "Kuffs" on her hands.
Try to get his way with Talia to prove to Bruce that she does not deserve him, and to some degree he would. (I would keep it as a secret to keep the readers guessing of what happened)
I would make him try to bring Raven to "human sensuality" by a certain whiper, a tender touch, and maybe "something" while they are on duty at the TT tower.
You want me to go on?

I was given the green light to start working on Catwoman, and dear boy, the title is going to be "M" for mature.
Roy is acting exactly how any of these masked "heroes" should. Given that Nightwing the hottest guy in DC, then he should "score" higher.
