I must say I'm amazed that anybody would actually vote against the expansion of the Justice Leauge. But there you are.
The votes have gone against us; No two Leagues. I must admit to being more than somewhat dissapointed, but what can you do? *shakes head*
Hopefully in the future people will reconsider throwing this opportunity away.

From where I was standing, nobody actually voted against the expansion of the League, but rather against cutting it into two halves, the sum of which might be considered less than the whole. |

Well, as promised, this poll is locked as of this morning, and the final results are in. Adjusting for Ramon's vote, it looks like the tally stands at 13 to 14--- against the proposal!--- but a close race, nonetheless. While I share Jay's amazement (and frustration), and continue to believe that the team we assembled to work on this project would have knocked some socks off, I respect that this is not what a (small, voting) majority of the site wants to see. Thanks to all the folks who voted (on both sides!  , and thanks for caring enough to make your voice heard! I know I speak for Mark as well when I say that the DC2 appreciates all it's members! As my last act of involvement in the Justice League, I would like to recommend to whomever will be editing this title after the IXXE, that Don Walsh and Michael Hewison at least be considered as writers (rotating or otherwise), and that Babs be put on another regular monthly title (ASAP!)--- she is too good not to use (and abuse ;D)! I would have greatly enjoyed working with all of those folks, and I hope that the creative energy and ideas that we were prepeared to put into this project can be channeled and redirected to other things!  |
