JSA: The most hyped-for DC2 book.
Apart from Powers Inc.
Because come on... It's a laugh...

I haven't read it, but I don't think it's that good. I have an instinct about these things. Myself, I'm in love with the Golden age. Anyone else?

LOL "I haven't read it, but I don't think it's that good." that makes no sense. That is actually the worst single post I've ever seen online... It's like... "I killed a man... But I wasn't actually there when I was killing him. I was posting on a fan fic page about a story I have yet to read."

Nah, its just... Before I make a decision on a book, I read it. That's always been my thing. You read the book, you make your opinion, and you back it up with evidence. "I havent read the book but I hate it" (paraphrasing) is not a good excuse. No offense.
I like the golden age.
Mostly because of James Robinson and The Golden Age.
Love him.

Anyone else? yeah i like the golden age too! in fact i am always trying to write a bit of it here but that usually never works out. I am going to incorporate a really nice part of that era in an upcoming title, but.... hey did you say you've never read Powers but dislike it? to each their own, i just really wish you would reconsider, it features not one but TWO second generation heros! thats more than any other title on dc but 2!

Ryu, your wait is almost over. I can tell you that the cover to the next issue of JSA is just about finished and it is an amazing piece of artwork by the one and only Dr. Dread!

I think this is really well done and researched. You must know the time era quite well. I really like this and I am not a reader of the published JSA book, although I have read many older stories that I liked. The style of the book is a great blend of all three ages of comics

Ryu... you should seriously look at the other books here... Hawkman for instance, a GREAT book also set in the Golden Age! 3 issues are already posted & the 4th will be coming soon! And if that weren't enticement enough... It's written by Idlewilder as well! And you never know who may pop up!
A DOUBLE WHAMMY OF GOLDEN AGE GOODNESS ALL WRAPPED UP IN ONE AWESOME WEB-SITE!
How could you go wrong!?
Then there's the Flash book! It has already had an appearance by Jay Garrick! Did you catch that one? It featured his origin!!! You should really give some of the other titles a shot, they're all worth it!
* Adventures of Superman, Action - two amazing Superman books with an arc by Idlewilder! * Aquaman - better than the current Aquaman book, and it's back to the basics! * Batman & Detective - truly fun books, also with an arc by Idlewilder * Flash - see above! * Green Lantern - utter crap, just kidding. Sci-fi action with horror aspects & conspiracies! * Nightwing - JUST GREAT! * Wonder Woman - by Idlewilder is action packed & intense!
And that's just some of the amazing titles on the site!
Then there's our covers & art galleries! You are really missing out on some great stuff here!

I thought that The Question Quarterly and Weird Western Quarterly are also some of the best books on the site...

The Flash #3 features the origin of the golden age Flash, something that you wanted to see more of if I'm not mistaken... The origins of JSAers?

hey did you all go mad and fail to mention Powers Inc? it features a few second generation heroes two of which hapen to be the sons of golden agers Airwave and Steel. Also it has Power Girl. yes thats right, Power Girl. umm... Power Girl.
if only it had the origin of Jay Garrick I think I may be on to something...

You don't really have a valid opinion until you read the book!

I think I'll ask David to postpone the book a little longer just because of this stirring banter we have going on here.
RYU,
Have you read anything else on this site?
