Didn't you all expect Rex and Ted to form their identities when the robots attacked. Like Al established his Atom identity.

Nope. Not at all I think... I gathered that this was meant as an introduction to the TEAM, not to the main players. The first issue of JLA isn't going to introduce all the team members, because SOME of the characters have their own books, so it's redundant. We might have writers down the line who want to do the origins of the JSAers, or maybe issues of the book that would reveal the secrets to their identities. But I never thought this was an introduction to all the heroes.

I understand that, I just thought it was going to be Rex and Ted who started their carrers at the world's fair. It was one of those things you couldn't predict.

"It was a gorgeous summer day at the World's Fair when the giant Nazi robots attacked." That line earned you a "best issue of the week" rating! ;D I've been waiting MONTHS for #1 and it was worth the wait -- it really feels like the 1940s when you read this. My only problem (and it's all mine, not a complaint) is remembering the secret IDs of all these guys -- Golden Age is not my area of expertise -- I think I'm gonna have to make myself a crib sheet! PLEASE don't make me wait another 4 months for #2! I'm beggin' ya!

I echo Susan. Perfect. It really did seem like the 1940's. Great job!

I'm beggin' ya! Thanks, Suse--- it was my favorite line, too! And I'm glad eveyone thought this issue was worth the wait, but unfortunately, at least until after the IXE, this title will be bi-monthly, with the next issue out in April.

Another fantastic issue! I liked all of the characterizations, especially Wesley's. It's nice to see one of my favorite golden age characters making a strong appearance. I also liked the way you set it up, so the JSA will be able to come into present time when you want. I enjoy golden age stories, but I also can't wait to see them her and now. Keep up the good work!

If they keep coming out as good as the first two, it will be well worth the wait.
Haven't been nosing around here long, but this place is fantastic.
My top five picks are:
1. JSA
2. TGLC
3. The Question
4. The New Outsiders
5. Aquaman
But really, everyone is fantastic on this site. Keep up the good work.
