Just a quick note to thank KSM for the final dressing on the cover. The masthead and logo look great!

Thanks, ryu! And don't forget to rate the issues that you read, okay!
The Atomic punch was all for you, but the framing device with Degaton I owe to the fabulous cover by DrDread--- I was having trouble starting this issue until I saw Doc's pic, and then the whole thing just fell into place (so thanks, Doc!).

I just read it. Great job! Can't wait to see Green Lantern and Wildcat!
And I liked the appearance of Per Degaton. I like how here, he envies the JSA because they have powers and he doesn't. Can't wait for more!

Pillock.I agree with HoM here Ryu, chill out and learn patience, otherwise you may find yourself no longer welcomed here. Cool? Now, onto the issue itself... This was good, clean fun! Giant Nazi Robots! A fleeing in fear villain! Dr. Fate! This was Golden Age perfection! Down to the comparison with Babe Ruth knockin' one outta the park! Everything was spot on perfect! I give you 'mad props' David! You write it as though it was written during the Golden Age! How you get that far into their heads blows me away. Incredible!

Again, I really liked this story. I love how you included the Golden Age Wonder Woman.
When will Green Lantern and Wildcat appear?

Like everyone else is asking, when will Green Lantern, Wildcat, or any other JSA members make an appearence? Will everything be in cronological order?

Say in the first issue Al worked at a restruant, and in the second issue, he was a lab assistant, does this mean Al had two jobs? Also, how many of the JSA members are still alive in the present day of the DC2 universe?

Also, how many of the JSA members are still alive in the present day of the DC2 universe? Maybe Al had two part-time jobs. It was said in JSA #0 that he needed to support his mother and sister. I think Polly Prince/Golden Age Wonder Woman would likely still be alive in the modern DC2U. She's supposed to be immortal, I believe. And we know Jay Garrick/Golden Age Flash is alive in modern times because he's on an adventure with Barry Allen over in the Flash's book.

Polly died in one of the Wonder Woman issues here in the DC2 universe. I'm sure Green Lantern, the one from the golden age is still alive, thanks to his ring. Then there could be the Specter, since he's a spirit.

Queen Hippolyta (the Golden Age Wonder Woman) met her ultimate fate in Wonder Woman #2, but her story is just beginning here in JSA!
As for Al Pratt, he doesn't have two jobs; he is a waiter nights and weekends (to support his family) and is a glorified Teachers Aide for Dr. Curtis during the day at Calvin College. And somehow, he finds the time to train with his boxing coach Joe Morgan, too!
While I can't give you a particular issue number yet to look for them in, both Green Lantern and Wildcat are on the horizon (not to mention, Dr. Midnight, the Golden Age Captain Marvel, Hawkgirl, the Golden Age Black Canary and a slew of others)!
As far as we know so far in the DC2, the JSA disbanded in 1951, but at least Jay Garrick is still semi-active in the present-day; as for the others, you'll just have to wait and see! Suffice it to say, that I have plans for a modern-day incarnation of the JSA, but I want to firmly establish them in the Golden Age, first.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone, but I realize I have committed an injustice--- the credits for this issue now properly reflect the debt I owe Lantern Lad for his invaluable co-plotting assistance and hours of brainstorming that want into realizing the DC2 vision of the Golden Age. Thanks, Scott!
And for those that can't get their fill of the JSA, look for Scott's forthcoming Elseworld tale JSA: A Legends End!

By the way, I loved the first issue, but if I could ask you to change something would you do it? As in have Rex and Ted not in costume. I though the issue would have them in their first battle. Know what I mean?

This was not their first battle, they were already established in their respective cities, as was the rest of the JSA. Once something is written into the DC2 continuity it is considered official continuity and will not be changed. The only exception is if something is incorrectly written, spelling, grammar, etc.
Enjoy the story for what it is... which is excellent.
Seriously Ryu? Why can't you just read a story, enjoy it & wait patiently for the next issue?
