Like last year, I'm volunteering to edit, collect, and what have you if we think that we can get enough interest in continuing the tradition. We're getting a lot of renewed interest here so think of this as a bit of a teaser of what is to come in the new year.
I'd need entries by December 20th so that I could make a Christmas Eve release date. I know we're on a bit of a short timeline here so, if you're willing to step up to the plate, please state your intent and ideas here so I'll know if I need to get myself ready for this.

So far so good!
So we've got WWII JSA, Inferior Five, Amethyst(!), Something from Charlie, and I think I'm going back to the well of inspiration that is DC3's Supergirl for another go.
That's five - which ain't bad. There is always room for more if anyone else wants to jump in!

No worries, Charlie. I too got sidelined this weekend. I was hoping to get the whole Supergirl story written but only managed two and a half pages. Now I'll be playing catch-up this week to try to have it done by this coming weekend.

Matt - Since we're still kind of up in the air as to exactly what is going to make it to me. As much interest as we've had, invariably, somebody isn't going to get something in to me. So I'd hate to tell you put X character on the cover and then not get a story with that character. I would do something generically holiday with a superhero twist to it. Matt, the deadline for written submissions is Tuesday (the 20th), and James will need time to edit and compile, so the 21st (Wednesday, our usual posting day), presumably. I don't think it would be any later, as the issue should come out before Christmas, and give folks time to read it before the holiday.
I know I personally like to stretch it out, like a kind of DC2 Advent calendar!

Good stuff. Maybe I'll toss up a couple rough sketches of cover ideas I felt didn't quite make the grade/fit in the meantime. I did a couple for kicks, but the one I settled on is pretty involved, and of course holiday schedules don't leave much drawing time, especially for a family man like myself. :-P
