I've missed the last three weeks has anything happened or has it just been repeats?

would that really work??? what do they usually do. Would hand painted animation work? You bet! that's how all the lasers and lightsaber effects were done back in the original Star Wars movie (and movies before it).

It's not easy to pull off a portly Martian Manhunter, but by god this guy gave it a shot!

Yeah... I own this steaming pile 'o' crap... the fat man in the green suit always made me chuckle... makes it even harder to take him serious on 'The Dead Zone'

Not too much. The "Lexmas" ep was this week but not much happened. This episode was actually pretty touching too... I found myself saying "Don't do it Lex!" even though it was inevitable.

Go evil...
This season has seen an increase in Lex's metamorphosis to evil bastard.

Well, ever since the season finale when he was in the caves, I realised that he truly is an evil son of a bitch.

you know what would be funny if lex bought a huge pile of green kryptonite and buried it under clarks house because it would make clark a bum... and me laugh

Ok, confession time. I'm way behind when it comes to watching this. In fact I am just now getting around to season four and finally saw the first appearance of Flash. My question is this...did they confirm who he really was. Visually he looked like Wally or Bart but they made references to every Flash that ever was. So if this guy was actually Bart, does that mean Bart is the original Flash in the series? Loved the line about Flash finding others like them and maybe starting a club or a league. Sorry this comes a year late, but I never catch it on regular tv so I have to watch it when I get the series for Christmas or birthdays.

I think it's supposed to be Bart... which made me shudder.
Just wait until you get season 5 and meet Aquaman! Made me want to vomit... "Dude, maybe we could form the Junior Lifeguard Association?"
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
Sorry, I regressed! But we get to find out soon enough just how they plan on screwing up Cyborg! It's planned for February sweeps!
BOOYAH!

I don't normally watch the show anymore but collect the DVD box sets instead, but i do catch an episode here and there. And since it advertised that someone close to Clark was gonna die I thought I'd check it out! No spoilers here but I was surprised at how it ended! Anyone else?

yeah well I am not sure how killing off lex luthor and having clark mind wipe lana fits in to the grand scheme of things, but it was an interesting way to go.

A well done episode, but I'm not sure how the show will be now without you-know-who. One of my favorite characters on the series.
And why do they torture Clark like this? The bad part is that it was a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation and he had to choose. But we find out later Victim A would have been taken out anyway, but now Clark knew to save him/her, but then the Repeat-One-Day crystal was already used and he couldn't do anything to prevent the death of Victim B. I do really like that Chloe knows the secret now though because they way she looked at Clark at the end was perfect.
And what was Lionel Luthor's picture? Hmmm.

I'm curious about Lionel's picture as well, but I really do wish that the Smallville show would play with mythology a bit more. You know, in the sense that they would change things around and seriously just surprise us? Coz...if they had actually let Lana go...I mean...wow. The ramifications of that would have been just as huge, but played out completely differently...
Thank god for fanfic, lmao.

I was impressed at the lack of suckiness for AQUA. I've seen all your 'reviews' for it, but it was quite good! The actor was a bit stiff at times, the hints to future things were a bit strong (JLA? Ho hum!) and the fish jokes were terrible, but it was an average episode of the show. THIRST on the other hand... Whaaaat? I'm loving Marsters as Braniac, because he's like *exuding cool* I'll keep watching...

I thought the Aquaman ep works just fine for what it was, but I have higher hopes for the television show, and am happy they got a new actor for the role.
I'm really excited to see where the whole Brainiac/Zod storyline is headed!

Does anyone know how many episodes are left and if they are doing a sixth season? if they are not it will be interesting to see how they tie up all the loose ends.

I thought it was pretty good....what I could see and hear of it through screaming 2 year old. The MAIN thing that bothers me about this show is that no matter what happens Lex or Lionel ALWAYS have a hand in it. Are they the only billionaires bent on world domination! Lana can't even serve a freaking latte' without Lex having a hand in it. I think it's stuck in a rut.
