I always thought a hero (not exclusive to superhero) could work. Just look at the reruns they could cheaply pick up. Smallville Lois and Clark Adventures of SUperman Dark Angle Alias Young Indiana Jones Hulk JLU Batman Batman TAS Superman TAS Spiderman Wonder Woman Misfits of Science Hercules Xena Andromeda B5 Flash Just off the top of my head. If they look at DVD sales, they should see a large market for action shows with strong heroes. Add in all the movies and pilots and you have a strong network. I love the idea! I would have this on in the background everyday. It give my wife a reason to stopping bitchin' about ESPN being on all the time! Of course I have to send a big fat exalt your way for mentioning Misfits of Science! I loved that show. It's a shame that Dean Martina JR died in a plane crash just as he was reaching his prime. Of course if that show stayed on the air you might know who Courtney Cox is today. She could have been a big star!

Did you all hear about the guy who played Aquaman in the failed series being brought in As Ollie Queen/Green Arrow in season 6 of Smallville? He's a Lois love interest and is in Smallville recruiting heroes for a Justice League of sorts. He, apparently, brings Cyborg and Flash back with him too.
Will be cool to see Cyborg again, liked him. He should be more made of metal though.

Anything that means more Lois and Chloe air time and less time having to listen to Lana whine works for me. Nothing drags down a SV more than Lana.
GA and a JL sounds pretty sweet. They say Clark doesn't want to join at first. I heard Cyborg, Flash, and the original AC would be back.
Now the big question should he wear a hat or a hood?

He'll probably just wear a green vest. You know how they do that thang.

HAT!! HAT!!
*ahem* sorry...
Apparently Jimmy Olsen is Chloe's love interest for the year, which bums me out a little after what happened in the final ep of season 5.
Good to see I wasn't the only one who shouted "NOOOO!!!" when they changed history in the 100th episode. Worst moment in Smallville ever for me.

That was a pretty cool promo, Michael Rosenbaum saying "Kneel before Zod" was the highlight for me. I'm excited about this season, especially the return of Flash and Cyborg. Too bad we still have to wait a while (Sept. 28).

I'm a little disappointed that they are using Rosenbaum for Zod. I'd really like to see him as a different character altogether. But still, Zod. Should be cool.

Anyone see the picture of GA in the new TV guide? I'd be happy that he's wearing a hood if it weren't for the fact that Smallville's probably going to screw up his character.

He looks a lot more like Arsenal than Ollie. And where's the goatee? Sheesh. And something's missing on that costume.... a hat maybe?

DUDE! What are ya'll high. Thats a great look. Personally I love the fact that he's in costume, not something we rarely see in Smallville and it looks good. Then again I do like Ultimate comics and this kinda reminds me of that.

Oh yeah. I always hated the guy that would bring his bow and arrows to the rave. They would always cause some trouble. Plus he would stand over in front of the bathroom so you'd always wind up bumping into his arrows trying to get in.

I don't like the costume much to be honest, it looked ace in the trailer. Kind of like a plastic molded GA costume. But now it looks like a lame biker's costume, surely they won't actually show it in as much light in the show. The hood looks wank though, even fans of the hood must realise that. GA didn't have the goatee when he first appeared so I can go with that, it would be cool if he got one somehow (like Clark with the glasses) and made an amusing comment.
Apparently he goes to a costume party dressed as Robin Hood by the way, I personally am hoping for the hat costume we all know from the pre-OYL run. I would probably explode if I saw that.
Anyone think they're readying a Young Justice spin-off? They don't need Tom Welling if he refuses, they could have somebody else play young Superman. That would rock, like Buffy but DCU.

I bet it comes out after he gets finished with Wonder Woman. He seems like he's been itching to get back into the Buffyverse with doing the Season Eight in the comics and all. Thanks for the linko.

Any one know if they haev any plans for a young Bruce Wayne to make an appearance?

They did, but not anymore. He was going to appear a while back, wasn't he? But something about copyright and Batman Begins ruined it for the writers... I think.

Anyone catch the season premiere?
It wasnt bad, but there was so much potential that it was kind of a let down. They do have some stuff set-up though that looks loke it could be pretty cool. I would've liked to see a better fight between Zod and Clark. But one redeeming factor was that they finally showed the real Superman emblem.
