That's awfully swell of ya! But I'm still holding out hope that they will release the Hal figure they made for the WB execs this past Christmas... It's a fools hope, really... but a hope nonetheless! www.emeralddawn.com/news/images/JLUHal1.jpg

Destroyer was a bit disapointing. It really should have been longer.

Wow, the episode of JLU last nite was great, and the ending was pretty shocking.
Spoilers below
Deadman possessed Batman's body to save Wonder Woman from being killed by Devil Ray ( the JLU equavilent to Blank Manta). He jumped to the floor, slid, quickly grabbed a gun laying on the ground, and shot and killed Devil Ray! Deadman left Bruce's body, and Batman hurtled the gun against the wall. Superman tried to console Batman, saying it wasn't his fault because he was possessed, but Bruce left in anger without saying a word. Also, Luthor shot (and possibly killed) Gorilla Grodd, making himself the new leader of the society. Again, it was a great episode, and I can't wait for the next one.

SPOILERS That episode did really show how great of a show JLU really is. There was a great plot, great characterization, and great animation. Best line: Superman (Deadman leaves his body):...you have to eat them with a spoon. Why am I in Africa? I also really enjoyed the ending with Batman shooting someone under Deadman's possession (and getting angry) and Luthor murdering Grodd!!

Spoilers hahhaha, I loved the whole "They have milkshakes so thick that--I Need your help!" "That is thick." line and the line once Superman reawakens. Great episode. I didn't see Flash and Substance, but this season was really starting to upset me until now, and honestly I'm very excited now. I thought the episode where the villains wanted to steal the ancient ship was pretty cool. But yeah, that was really the only one of the four episodes that aired in September that I remember. BTW, you gotta listen to this clip from the end of last Saturday's episode: www.worldsfinestonline.com/WF/jlu/episodes/deadreckoning/03.mp3

Spoilers... yet again.
No one has mentioned the 'death' of Devil Ray (Black Manta). Did that shock anyone else? Surprised the Hell outta me!

Spoilers... yet again. No one has mentioned the 'death' of Devil Ray (Black Manta). Did that shock anyone else? Surprised the Hell outta me! I was shocked by that too, as well as Grodd getting shot (and possibly killed) by Luthor. I did mention it in a above post, but I don't think anyone read it because of the Spoiler warning.

I thought it was a shock, but he was a Black Manta clone so it's not as strong of a death as it could have been. I won't spoil anything, but if you thought the Grodd and Devil Ray things were shocking.... then get ready. Tonight's episode is listed as 'Patriot Act'. This is the Seven Soldiers one with a really cool bad guy and fight scene. Don't miss it!!

why was that supposed to be funny? naw.... its still an issue to me. if superman doesnt want to drop the fu#k work, then he shouldnt replace it with something so lame.

Superman always replaces swear words with lame words, it's part of his charm! For example:
"Great Scott!" "Great Rao!" "...that darned Luthor again!"
See? It's all lame, yet charming.

Probably old news to youse guys that downloaded it, but: Brutal episode tonight spotlighting The Shining Knight, Vigilante, Stargirl & Stripesy, Mr. Teriffic, The Crimson Avenger, Green Arrow & his ex-sidekick (partner, if you ask Roy) Speedy! Also, in the opening a battle between the Gray Ghost & some Nazi scumbags that are trying to creat Captain Nazi! Very cool! When does the Legion episode hit dammit?

I think the guy at the beginning was Spy Smasher. Like it matters. Very cool either way but I really wanted to see Captain Nazi in his costume! The Seven Soldiers put up a good fight against a Hulk-level bad guy, but get the living crap kicked out of them! I really liked the scene with Sir Justin refusing to give up even though he was way outmatched. It's also amazing to me how often this cartoon can make political commentary without ever being obvious or preachy. Great episode!

Warms your heart of the olden days...

Yeah, the Gray Ghost/Adam West ep in Batman rocked. This was Spy Smasher I think and it sounded vaguely like Nathan Fillion voiced on this one too. Would need to find some credits some where to be sure.

I don't think it was Adam West this time. He has the kind of voice that's hard to miss.

It's funny how they used more Nazi terms in Patriot Act than in "Savage Time", the three parter where Vandal Savage went to the past. I don't even think they used the word "Nazi" or Hitler's name in "Savage Time". Plus it was weird how they gave the Spear of the Destiny a really weird name.
