I just wasn't around to buy it when it came out so I'm constantly searching quarter bins for issues. Trying to read the series in order makes it that much harder. conformist. i won't be buying 52 not because I don't have money, but because it is the Man's way of controlling yet another aspect of our culture, and since you mentioned it, it must obviously be in affiliation with your greedy corporate bloody hands.

Everything is way past cool now. Its so much beyond it that it's sexy party time Cool!
Now I have a question:
Name your favorite DC 'Event' story of all time. Oh and anything with "Crisis" in it doesn't count.
I am gonna go with Zero Hour. It was a big event book that was epic in story and scoop and and it brought about the Zero issues which were all fun. Of course the best book to come out in the last ten years started after Zero Hour which was Starman!

My most favorite-est "event" that WASN'T Crisis-esque would be...none. Sadly, most of the other huge company-wide crossovers have been pretty terrible...usually it has been used as an obvious marketing ploy to increase sales...thank god for the integrity of Geoff Jones and Co. That's what you get when people who actually CARE about the product is in charge!!!

I have to agree with tigereyes, I can't think of anything that is more enjoyable then the crisis'. the competition has never put out anything as good as these, that's for sure.
