Don't they put the word "crisis" in every crossover event that they do? I'm still going to say that Identity Crisis has been my favorite. The story, characters, and writing was brilliant. I thought the ending was a little bit weak, but all of the character interaction and development made it so that I didn't mind.

It changes monthly but perennials are Jonah Hex, Suicide Squad, Grimjack, Ostander's Spectre, Mystery In Space Adam Strange (Infantino years) and Blackhawk (pre Chaykin).

I would have to go with Zero Hour also. I did not see the end coming the way it did. I mean my favorite hero of all time turns out to be the big bad??? OK, maybe my favorite hero of all time possesed by a yellow fear monster thingie turned out to be the big bad. And my second favorite book(s) of all time started out at zero, erasing decades of continuity (LSH & Legionnaires) and reestablished them as a fun youthful group again. Yeah, Zero Hour rocked...

Weird, I came after every crisis, this one we are in now is my first.
I liked how in sins of youth, every panel kyle sported a new costume. though it made little sense that wally didnt stay older while the other titans did, that was fun and I didnt see the word crisis in the whole thing. upgrade.

The ones that leap to mind are:
Saga Of Swamp Thing 21 - The Anatomy Lesson (definitely, without any question, number 1 on my list) 'Mazing Man Animal Man 26 (great end to a great Morrison story) Doom Patrol 34 (another great Morrison story) The last issue of DC Comics Presents - Superman & The Phantom Zone (especially the scene with Bizarro letting the dead Argo City residents rain over Metropolis) Mister Monster 2 There was a great early issue of Dexter's Laboratory where he finds out that he's going to die by reading the comic itself but I can't remember the issue number

AND the original and far superior Teen Wolf with the incomparable Michael J. Fox. I saw that one in the theaters my friend. Well, mostly due to the influence of it following up the sci-fi comedy classic Back to the Future. While Teen Wolf wasn't quite as good, 1985 was undeniably the 'Year of Michael J. Fox' at the box office.

right, you know the difference though? teen wolf too didnt have the problem of having extras expose themselves. thats called learning from your mistakes. in my opinion the exclusion of exposed male genitals and the inclusion of a hairy bateman pounding the hell out of random guys makes the sequel better. thats just me though.
long live michael j fox though! i doubt if bateman did a sequel to the secret of my success it would have been anygood.
