Infinite Crisis! BEWARE may contain SPOILERS!!!

Rich does have connections and has called quite a few things right on Infinite Crisis so far (like Kyle becoming Ion again and getting his own series, for instance). I guess we'll all find out for sure when the issue hits the stands.

Hey everybody!!!! how great was that last issue? I will leave the spoilers to better summarizers, but all i can ask is, in the wake of the destruction of the universe, why is bats going after brother eye still? isnt that beating a dead horse?

I thought this issue was pretty well done. Ragman says that it feels like the calm before the storm, and if all the different events building in the this issue are an indication of what will be happening in the next 2 issues, then this is going to be a damn big storm. I'm really tired right now, but if nobody else has by tomorrow, I'll post some spoilers.

The thing starts out with ragman and terrific at a church where a mass is being held for th "capes" where Zauriel is giving a sermon and we see the shadow pact move out to help some people and it ends with a picture of helena saying, amen. cool scene but like they said... calm before the storm. Now we are taked to earth two where all those earth two guys have been teleporting to. and they are all pretty bewildered. except two. Superman and Lois are at the Daily Star and Superman are basically the only two in the entire metropolis and Superman is going on about how he saved her and how they are on the "right" earth. Now it cuts to the batcave where booster unsuccesfully tries to sneak in for a meeting with blue beetle. Batman traps them and they tell him how booster knows about his plan to take out brother eye with a team because he has seen this in the future. Next we cut to an incredibly alive Lex Luthor in his cool superfreinds clothes talking to Connor about how he should see the technology they have up north and he slips a crystal or tube in his jeans that shows the machine that Alex has made. Back to E2 where Superman explains why he is in love with Lois and just as he's saying how the "did it" she starts speaking cryptically saying things like "But this isn't...", "You still never..." and "Its not going" then she dies and we get a page strait from infinite earths with E2 Supes screaming Lois and E1 Supes hearing it and flying off. Now we see wonder woman who is trying to help but the people all see her as a monster and run. She tries to stop them when guess who appears... HER E2 counterpart, invisible jet and all. Back on E2 Superman comes seeing if Lois is in trouble and wee see a royally pissed off E2 SUperman going on about E1 being a disease and it being The younger superman's fault she died. then he picks up a car slams it into clark and proclaims, "YOU KILLED MY WIFE!" in the pose from the very first Superman cover. The fight continues with supermen fighting and we see alex with pyscho pirate talking about Lois' death. Alex is cold hearted and says he was the price for the future, same with the now lost superboy prime. Now we see WW E2 telling Diana that she has to help superman and be a human again. there is a nice moment where she tells her E1 counterpart that everyone makes mistakes, even superman and flies off because the blessings of the gods are fading. Diana is teleported right in the middle of a now completely destroyed Metropolis and the Superman fight. She uses her lasso on E2 Clark and he gets pissed saying people from his earth told the truth and that she didnt need her lasso. He goes on a rant about how they wasted the perfect earth and clark and diana tell him a pefect earth doesnt need a superman and so he lowers his head and flies off. it is intercutted with alex talking to pirate about the different people on the tower including Breach the captain atom of earth 8. whats earth 8? earth 8 is a world that would have belonged to any and all characters created post crisis such as Kyle Rayner and Helena Bertinelli. Then we Batman's cre gathered in front of the beetle's beetle bug. and Elex talks about how he needs thousands of earths the find the perfect earth. then we see his hands ripping the galaxy apart as donnas crew fly toward it and superman realizes that the perfect world doesnt need a superman and it dons on him Alex's intent all along. and in sheer terror he looks up and says, "alex" and we see the universe start ripping apart and alex explains that he needed Superman around because everything comes from him. and we see superman splitting into different looks from different worlds including red son and a few others. below that the worlds multiplying and a full page of the same thing. Now back on earth we see Nightwing sending a mesage that everyone is gathering at the titans tower and in different cities we see nearly everything crumble. we see the fawcett guys dissapear now as there earth has returned. and now we see nightwing saying, "this is it" in a lonely room by himself. then the windows but and he looks into the sky and sees hundreds of earths above him colliding and blowing up. Superboy appears and the two with the informaition they have got from Batman and Lex and they go to shut them down. In Tokyo we see Doctor Light doing her thing and all of the sudden BARRY ALLEN is back... again. with the revelation that they let "him" escape and he's coming. Light asks who and he points the the sky and says, "HIM!" and the next and last we see superboy with that strange antimonitor esque armor on with the earths travelling behind him. its pretty damn cool.

Was it Barry? I thought (or assumed) it was Wally. Since there's only three panels of the Flash, it's kind of hard to tell.

wallys always had no things on his boots. this flash has the things on his boots... those wings or whatever.

c'mon, you know as well as i do that was barry. he was also not as thin as wally and wears lighter colors.

those damn'd LoSH idiots..... they should just stick to ruining their OWN timestream.

Is it a coincidence that the latest LSH issue shows how Barry supposedly survives the Crisis...? I think not.
I think it's Barry.
But it could be Bart, all growed up and Barry-ized.
But it's probably not Wally (else why go through all the trouble?)...

I really like Barry Allen and because I do I want him to stay dead. He died heroically and his legacy has been passed on. I would hate to see his character be cheapened because some writer doesn't want to develop Bart, Wally and Jay.
Barry Allen is dead, may he rest in peace and NEVER return.
