Best. Episode. Yet.
Tonights episode was what true Sci Fi is all about. A great story with a powerful message at its center. Kind of surprised to see what happened to Adam though. Thought he was going to join the party for a while longer. Excellent show!

Yeah, and the bad guy in this one was the main guy from 'Shaun of the Dead' (best zombie movie ever, aside from 'Return of the Living Dead'). We haven't seen the last of Satellite Five though. Adam got what he deserved! Ha. The Doctor and Rose don't pick up any extra passengers.... yet. And I have to agree with you, Brian. This show is what good sci-fi is all about. Great characters, perpetual "imminent danger", high concept stories that never forget to pass along a solid message (without being preachy), and on top of all that, it's just plain fun. This show probably is my favorite at the moment. As good as Battlestar Galactica is, Dr. Who just nails it. |

That's where I've seen him from!!! I knew I had seen him before.
I love that movie. Laughed my #$$ off! Glad Satallite Five comes back.
Now I've got to start renting Battlestar's first season and see what that is all about.
Adam did get what he deserved. For a second I thought they were going to turn him into a Dr. Smith. Glad they dumped him, really. Just a bit surprised that he turned out to be such an idgit.

I've only seen this show once because CBC in Canada (the ABC equivalent) was showing it. CBC shows a lot of English shows now like the soap operas and such. Maybe I'm just to used to American television but I thought this show was very strange. The episode I saw was when the "bad guys" were running a evil game show in outer space. The robots, the spaceships, everything just seemed a little odd. But then again, I guess it could be placed with Star Trek and Star Wars odd.

Oh, Holy freakin crap. Who just watched that episode. I bet HoM did at least. It will be a long time before I see something tha d*mn cool again. Probably a week.

Not hard with two episodes down, but seriously, the story was fantastic, the characters well done and the cinematography is FANTASTIC this series.

So this is going to get a little crazy. We've got two separate seasons running. In the US we are half way through the first one and the second just started in the UK. Maybe we should specify which one we are talking about. And definately use the spoiler inviso-text for, well, Brian as he's the only guy that seems to be watching season one here with me. I don't want to spoil it for him but as you all know just the mention of an actor initialed DT could be a big surprise. I really don't want to make another Who thread so this should work fine. Big thanks guys for any extra effort to keep the spoilers unspoiled. |

I think he means the invisible text (I assume it is some uber-internet-geek phrase that the rest of the world other than KSM have yet to learn.) Its basically making the writing the same colour (WITH A 'U' DAMMIT) as the background as me and HoM did.
