Wow! Sometimes time travel can make my head hurt.
Really enjoyable episode tonight. Had some great effects and loved the creatures. Also a very sad episode, but I'm really getting into this new Doctor. First I wasn't sure about him, but he's grown on me.

UK: Best episode of the series so far. I could go on and on about it but I'm too lazy to master inviso-text. Really, really looking forward to the next episode purely because it's written by Steven Moffat who, as well as writing my favourite TV series of all time "Press Gang", also wrote my favourite story of the last series (which, if I've got my calculations right, is the next episode out in the US).

Terrific episode tonight. I love cliffhangers. Also one of the creepiest. All I need to hear is a the voice of a creepy kid and I'm freaked. *shudder*

I agree, very creepy.
Plus, Captain Jack! And very nice effects on the bombing of London too I thought. Great episode in my opinion!

I don't know much about Captain Jack, but he seemed like a cool character. The effects were some of the best yet. Not only the bombing of London, but when the virus takes hold and the face turns into the masks. Awesome!!!
My concern is that they didn't show previews for next week, and they always show previews...unless next week isn't a new one. GASP!

Surely it was an oversight. It wouldn't make sense to do repeats now and in the middle of a two-parter. But who am I to say what makes sense in television programming. A cool thing in the show are some of the reoccuring settings in different times. London of course. But the Albion Hospital from this ep is the same one where the Doctor found the "alien" in Aliens of London. I've already said Satellite Five pops back up. And a certain city in Wales will make another appearance. Did I miss any?

UK: Great episode, although not as great as last week's (although this could just be sour grapes on my behalf as this episode managed to completely invalidate a Smallville/Doctor Who fanfic I'm working on).

Well I finally got to watch the second part of SciFi's newest episode. All I can say is, "Are you my mommy?"
Great episode, nice little twist at the end. Great dance between the Dr. and Rose, too. Please tell me that Captain Jack stays, or at least comes back.

Torchwood! The new Bad Wolf, every episode there are more and more mentions of it! Captain Jack has indeed been rumoured to be getting a new show and Brian... Jeez! It's "Are You My Mummy?" We don't give you these things so you can Americanize them with your 'o's... and talking of England... "DELETE! DELETE ROGUE ELEMENTS!"

Please tell me that Captain Jack stays, or at least comes back. Yeah, he's back for the rest of the first series. He's also due to be a main character in a planned Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood (which will also star the girl from the Charles Dickens episode, although as a different character).

Man, Torchwood would be a great series and it is really starting to be explored in the new series...something is really happenening there...alot of questionable and weird history.

From Lying in the Gutters:
>>> BRISTOL BULLET >>>
"Torchwood" was originally the name used to disguise the nature of Doctor Who film materials being sent from Cardiff to London. Then it took on a life of its own…
>>> BRISTOL BULLET >>>
"Torchwood" plotpoint for being set in Cardiff, is due to the Space Time Rift established in Doctor Who episodes "The Unquiet Dead" and "Boomtown."
