But... Patrick Warburton... His voice can melt chocolate.

Warburton needs to do a few voice overs for Dr. Who. Maybe a Dalek with personality that begins reciting Shakespear mixed with old Lucy episodes. It would work.
Is anyone a Red Dwarf fan? Or remember Dave Allen at Large? Along with Who and Montey I grew up with Sunday night being British TV on PBS. Sunday morning was watching Dick the Bruiser and Baron Von Raskie (something like that). In between you went to church and dreamed about Sunday morning and night.

Not sure what was that funny about tonight's episode (although I laughed out loud at the scene with the key not working) but I have to say that, after a pretty disappointing start, this series has suddenly totally turned itself around in the last three weeks coming out with possibly the best episodes ever.

Ha! Me neither. I knew it was going to happen (through rumours etc), and I was on the edge of my seat, but when he showed Martha the watch... I was shaking. I couldn't stop moving. I couldn't believe how INGENIUS the writers were. And Captain Jack was a joy too! But with the final moments, WOW it was amazing. I'm wondering how they'll get out of that situation!

Doctor Who, Mark, has just suddenly become Captain Scarlet! Indestructable hero, floating platform in the sky... Well, Captain Jack has reminded me of Captain Scarlet since the first Torchwood, but, yeah, the cloudbase was a dead ringer for cloudbase. Also, and you're probably way too young to recognise this reference, the spherical bad guys were very reminiscent of the Zeroids (or whatever they were called) in Terrahawks.

Now, Terrahawks always scared me But I thought the ending was... I don't know. I loved John Simm throughout, thought the beginning was a bit of a cop out, and then the end was some what anticlimactic. I like how everything has tied together this series, but honestly... It just felt like a let down, and I don't know why. But John Simm was great "I like it when you say my name." He was nothing like what I thought the Master would be! Enthusiastic! Awesome!

Season finale: Heartwrending. Not as emotional as last year, but yeah, I can see people crying over that.

I"ve watched that one several times already. The person who created it has made many wonderful video tributes, including one for each Doctor (Patrick Troughton's being my favorite video tribute). Very creative. The one for the Master is very nice indeed. And he has a fantastic primer for Doctor Who in his library of videos, definitely worth checking out!
Take care Don

I'm bloody well resurrecting this thread. I've got no one to talk to about this episode! Part one of the two part season finale and it's a bloody.... Bloody amazing! I can't put into words how much paid off in this issue. So bloody much... All these hints and whispers throughout the series, and in this episode, it all comes together... And that last scene? OH. MY. GOD. I think I murdered my brother with how much I was screaming at the television. IT was just... Bloody hell! BLOODY HELL!!!! (My over use of bloody is to hide the fact I want to swear so very loudly right now) WHO HAS BEEN FOLLOWING THIS SERIES?

Utopia caused me to have the most vocal fangasm my family has ever seen. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! There was no prolonged fangasm this episode. But if you concentrate the fangasm I had when watching Utopia into the viewing time of the last scene? Just as powerful. Judas Priest!!!
