I really hope they don't kill off Wally. Let him retire, and have a life with his family. I also don't see Barry coming back ever, so my prediction for the next Flash is one of the twins (the girl), all grown up, from the future. I think they'll have Bart stck around with the Titans...

I think something will happen to Kid Flash that will cause him to take Wally and everyone to the future (to be safe and so that Wally can raise his family...) and then return One Year Later as The Flash.
Thoughts?

I don't think I'm ready to see Bart as Flash yet. I'm still getting used to him as Kid Flash...

Owen Mercer, the next Flash? Anyone? Anyone?

I think the best twist they could give us with Flash is to really build him up like they are doing. I mean let's face it, he's starting to look a lot like Barry did at the end. Then when this whole thing is over...he's still the Flash! HA! Faked everyone out. That's my dream scenario. ;D

I too hope that Wally remains the Flash when its all over. As far as what the JLA should look like after IC...................I don't care, as long as it isn't too full of second stringers and NO Plastic Man! Hate me if you want but he bugs the crap out of me and is always a distraction to the story IMHO. What I hope for is a writer who can tell story's worthy of the JLA. Morrison did it through most of his run as did Waid and somewhat with Joe Kelly. All I care about is seeing great epic tales with the DCUs finest. What do you mean there won't be a JLA after Crisis? Well thats a shame

**Sighs** Plastic Man gets no love. His title's being cancelled with #20 as well...

I loved him in Kelly's run, not so much in Morrison *ducks for cover* but thats just my personal preference.

I just never felt the JLA needed comic relief. I know others have said it balances out the seriousness but thats just an excuse to do comedy. It had its place in the Giffen era. But after the Crisis, the dark veil is suppose to be lifted and things will be more lighthearted again. So bring on Plastic Man and I will move out of the way!

In Morrisons run Plas was a joke. The comic relief. But in Kelly's... He rocked! He was still funny, but had an edge (and was revealed as the best and most powerful character in the DCU!) although all this was lost during Bakers series. No offense to his fans, but it didn't click for me.

Well for those of you who like Plas, eventually down the road I am doing a two part All-Star Plastic Man story. My take on him is a little bit of each and my own special brand of humor....though no vegtables-I promise! ;D

We wouldn't kick you out of the site for something like that... We'd give you the task of doing Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew... Something more to your strengths... Kiddin!

Never read Captain Carrot? There were some great issues there. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated (mostly) by the great Scott Shaw!. If you buy any back issue, you have to get CCAHAZC #14. CLASSIC!
The Zoo Crew meets the JLA (Justa Lotta Animals)!

Has this book seriously gone down the $hitter, or what? the art is horrible, the story incomprehensilbe... I read it and thought to myself... that's time spent that I'll never get back. I'm that much closer to death and I could have spent that 10 minutes doing something more preductive... like picking my nose, or something.

I have to agree with you LL. Even though I was personally tickled at the fight between GA and Batman, the last few issue's seem to have wandered around a bit. I get the feeling that they've given up on it and are just letting it run it's course until the new one comes a long.

I'm that much closer to death and I could have spent that 10 minutes doing something more preductive... like picking my nose, or something. This last arc has been pretty bad. The League went out with a whimper, and the last few issues have really lost their way (I mean, they're dealing with a menace that's already been addressed and resolved in other titles)! Will JLA start over with Metzler and Benes as a new #1, or will they continue the current numbering?
