If I were a villian an opened the door to see those characters standing there as Alex Ross does them, I would just give up. If it were as Turner did them, I'd say bring it on!

And if I did them, the villian would ask Black Canary and Vixen to spank him with a cat of nine tail. Then ask Geo-Force who was the unknown buck toothed chick floating around in his head.

Any thoughts on the end of the Lightning Saga?
It rocked...

It was ok. The story really doesn't flow well without having Justice Society too.

I dropped JLA halfway through the Lightning Saga. The decompressed story-telling was starting to really annoy me.

The title just seems tired and stale. I go check out the title at the store but it just doesn't elicit enough attention to pick it up and take it home. The team just isn't a very exciting line-up and lacks to big story element of Morrison and the classic title, and the humor of the Giffen-era days. A continuous disappoinment, and I don't see bring in Milestone characters (Icon and Hardware, as well as a battle versus Shadow Cabinet) as the solution either.

Well look what Duffie has been saddled with. Crossovers. Tie-Ins. Lead-Ins. All that crap. He was stuffed with Meltzer's carry-over. Only now is he starting to get his feet, and even then, he's been saddled with Vixen's problems, and Red Tornado's body-problems. The Icon characters might give him a breath of fresh air, but I feel that Duffie has been given a bum deal.

Always a JLA fan. Love this latest run of it, but got to admit the last few issues have been a little hit and miss for me.
