YEAH i saw that, no kyle. probably won't be as cool without a guy for guy to play off of i think. looks cool as far as the cover goes though.

I really thought this would be Kyles new title... but then they went all 'ION' on him. I just don't know... This will be cool though. Guy & Kilowog starring in a book together!

I'm kind of excited about the book. I've liked all the GL's that have come along, but there's always been something about Guy that I really liked and it's great to see Guy in a regular series again. Kilowog is icing on the cake!

Great story though & I like John's take on Hector Hammond... German speaking Gremlins from outerspace... Fun concept! they werent speaking german, the germans are speaking their language... No, we are not. I like Johns, but his "German" was really.... bad. I read it two weeks ago. It was funny, but it wasn't German. |

Time after time I'm convinced I'm going to drop this book, because I'm sure that it's some of John's worst, weakest writing (put him with an awesome director, and he's astonishing!) but every time I read an issue I love it even more. But with that last page... What the hell!?

okay, what?!? you say this stuff is worse than action!? i very much dislike action as it is just playing to people who saw the first two movies. nothing seems inspired and the art in it has just been miss and miss.

But with that last page... What the hell!? What?!?! This is one of the best titles DC is producing right now! Didn't you like the German-talking alien gremlins (actually, I think we just have alien-talking Germans). I loved the last arc, with the Cyborg Superman and bringing back Arisa, and the current one is really shaping up to be a winner, too (I mean come on--- how can you not love the Sinestro Corps?). |

Geoff is just trying to wipe Hal's slate clean! "Oh, no one died now when I was possessed by that evil yellow parasite thing that made me do the bad things..." It's a crappy retcon! I like the book but it's just things like that that to me kinda suggests bad writing  And if anyone mentions the "Joey" retcon over in Action Comics... That's was SO Ramon... |

Speaking of languages in the GL series.
The Crimson Fox spoke the worst French I read in a long, long time. They should've used gibberish.
The worst was when she introduced herself, in French, as the Red Red. Wha??

Another great issue here! The return of John Stewart, while not a favorite of mine, was still nice to see. And the opening pages where You-Know-Who was offered a ring in the Sinestro Corps ("You have the ability to instill great fear...!") was an inspired bit of business!
Can't wait to see Star Sapphire next issue--- and it looks like the "Tales of the Sinestro Corps" is finally getting underway!
This title is a Can't Miss for me every month!
