Just wait until you have it in your grubby little hands...! Then we shall all climb the mountain side and exclaim together!
We will shout it from the rooftops so all will here!
We will say:
regardless of how we felt about the series! At least we got a few F-ing amazing covers out of it!!!
Of course, there will probably only be a two panel cameo of 1 GL, and the cover only used as a selling tool... but it doesn't matter! It is:

Don't knowe if anyone read this week's DC Nation. Dan Didio published the "editorial notes" for IC #7. Notice what he says about page 18.... "Dude, we did not go to all that trouble to bring Hal back just to kill him again. Please change it." What does that mean?

I just take the DC nation stuff with a grain of salt... They're just trying to sell more books!

gnort of sector 69 (or is it 68?) finally reports for duty! i wouldnt be surprise if he takes out prime by himself then goes to earth and handles that business with the villains alone too.

Ok then peoples, tomorrow... Infinite Crisis #7! (and also Civil War #1...) so to stop people who can't get the comic having the conclusion ruined by an accidental bit of clickage...
Invisio text!
Which basically means changing the colour of your text to the colour of the background!
Easy!
Anyways... w00t! Superboy Prime is going DOWN!

Happy Crisis day everyone! Well this is it. We find out if it was all worth it or not...or do we?
Has anyone else read the DC Nation in the back of some of the latest issues? The one where you see Dido making page by page comments? I think that says a lot about what they are really doing with this. Still, I'm anxious to read it.

[shadow=red,left,300] SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLERRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSS![/shadow] brought to you by inviso textokay so: we start off where we left off with the 5 heroes over superboy. batman says something like, "we learn from this. learn from them" and the pg and superman are like, "why are we here?" well, no one knows really so we move along and Jordon comes up with robin who sees his best freind dead and Jordan announces the villains art trying to take over the world! (yes, that happened in the old one, so what?) so we go to metropolis where the skies are read and the blood is bountiful in one pretty sweet two page splash page. purty pictures but nothing worth mentioning (oh, except there is a real egyptian looking hawkman that looks like the kingdom come one and out dc2 one, check it out half way down the middle of the third page!) next we get some deaths as bane breaks judo master in half (but i guess it didnt work on batman, he should get a new method) and peacemaker is killed by prometheus. <more fighting but no deaths> then we see superboy prime and alex walking through the battle having a.. ahem "lovers squabble" next we see doomsday come out and roy and ollie are like, "crap, what do we do?" and then the supermen attack. they use some good ol' fashioned teamwork and take him down. superman calls on a charge of heroes that are supposed to make us say wow, but its drawn kind of weird and besides the maing guys they added in stargirl ray aquaman canary and raven for some odd reason. i know they were all in space at one point but still. team bat takes out deathstroke, john and hal appear to cut off sinestros head (not the case) and wonder woman/girl take out cheeta. superman asks alex why he did it and alex says he is like his dad, in a world full of villains and prime continues a minibitchfest in comparison to the one he is about to throw. flash come back and its BART aged a few years but its no big deal for reasons we find out later. Superboy gets a bright idea that he should just fly into oa and i guess thatll recreate the big bang... why didnt the anti montior just do that then, could have saved a whole miniseries . so Jonn Jonnz who is back to bad ass status tell sthe guys to go to the sky if they can and we get the flying guys going into outerspace. they do and superboy peirces breach's shell and we wait for the big explosion and we get....
captain atom... okay whatever moving on.
they keep chasing superboy and hal radios into guy that they have a problem. MEANWHILE in metropolis, batman punks deathstroke with the batbows and alex is pissed. he tells batman hes ruined everything and is about to laser beam him when dick jumps in the way. now, he doesnt die but batman apparently thinks so and goes nuts. this is by far the worst time alex could lose that power and surprise surprise, he does. for some reaon shaggy man interrupts the moment and they all go flying. back in space superboy is flying and crashes right into a "Three-Hundred-Mile-Thick wall of pure damn willpower. but it only slowed him down... because hes powerful.. real powerful. but the good thing about that wall is we get a sweet splash page of guy and a whole bunch of other lanterns flying at him! redeemed! Then Superboy kills a few. still angry he grabs guy by the throat but hal and the group save the day. You see Superman 1+2 have a plan and they make Kara wait while they do it. Makes no sense they will have needed her for what happens next.
On earth? oh there batman gets up and is none too pleased about Alex going on about how they are the same and how batman doesnt go far enough. good enough analogy for me but apparently not batman who pulls out a gun and holds it to alex's head. pulls the hammer and... Wonder Woman stops him. Of course she does. she pulls out a sword and walks over and breaks the sword i guess symbolically showing bruce its not the way. naturally he wusses out I mean he realizes its wrong and they walk away and rubble falls on him.
Back in space Superman 1+2 fly superboy through the red sun compliments of donna troy. so they fly through it and land on MOGO! they get up and its kind of confusing because superboys armor has melted off, yet i guess the clothes are strong enough to survive. no biggie, it must be the kryptonian fibers or something. Supes1 gets up and walks over to 2 and is shot down by prime via heat vision completely burning his cape and the whole back of the costume (so much for the fiber theory) but as he blasts his vision up and fades away. hes shocked and E2 supes sucker punches. prime gets angry and commences to pummel E2 in the face. looks like it hurts too blood is everywhere. but as he raises his hand to finish the job E1 grabs it and lets him know that aint happenin'. they fight. yada yada yada, "you're not superman" "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me." blah blah blah. and superman beats the hell out of a little kid. kryptonite from a ring around the red son falls on mogo and superman faints. then all the lantersns show up and clean up mogo and but prime in a little prison. Kara is all sad that E2 is dead and he tells her what lois was telling him which was its not going to end, its never going to end. which it does when he dies and we see superman and lois in the stars above powergirl and superman's shilloette.
Now we see ib earth a few little loose ends as people are rebuilding metropolis, pg and ww are mourning at a graveyard with three headstones, specter is all shocked, two kids find that oriental green lantern, and finally we find out although bart made it back from the speed force, he has no more powers. Jay still is since the speed force didnt power him and so bart hands over the costume to jay who looks at it in disgust since his own is soooo much more cooler. (okay not the last part, i made that up. but i do suspect it is what he thinks)
Cut to Gotham they make it seem like the sequal will be that alex survived the whole ordeal and is already planning his move when out of an alley he hears a crazy laugh. Alex asks who it is and we see a yellow flower on a purple suit. hmm... alex is shot in the eye by said flower and we see a purple glove with a needle glowing green. alex is all, "wait!" like a little girl and joker gives him the buzzer from hell. Alex is dead and Luthor is chillin in the alley mocking Alex the whole time he dies. He's like, you over estimated everyone, me, batman, supes, and the biggest one was joker. remind me never to never plot a world takeover without that guy, hes damn nuts. oh right then joker shoots him in the face.
Somewhere else in gotham diana, clark, and bruce are kickin it discussing future plans and Clark kinda hits on Diana just a bit. exact words, "i can suggest a way to clear your perspective" while he lowers his glasses. Bruce interupts saying hes going to recreate batman by following his journer again with this little batboys. and he smiles... awe... So anyways diana goes away to find herself and clark has no powers thanks to flying through a red sun and getting kyptonite rained on him. then lois shows up and they make out. Superman is a player on this earth. then she is like, what are we going to do without superman, batman, and wonder woman? and there is a splash page of a bunch of heroes and supemran says things are in good hands. among these heroes: batwoman, a new doc midnight it looks like (unless its a coloring error because he has the same costume, its just all black) captain atom, new atom, new aquaman, jsa, titans, metal men, starman and girl, seven soldiers of victory, catman, green lanterns of earth (and ion with yet another version of the costume) lobo martian manhunter in new duds, marvel family with (looks like) the old marvel in all white with a hood and a long haired captain marvel in a modified cape, a short haired dick grayson, hawkman (and not the aforementioned egyptian one) the question and umm... ambush bug. not really. i wish.
last but not least we go to oa and gardner explains how they are detaining superboy in a red sun surrounded by fifty lanterns at all times. he cuts an s into his chest and he looks evil. how evil? he has red eyes and drool hanging off his chin. that evil.
the end.

I really liked those small moments. The character bits. I'm not saying much since I'm not sure how to inviso text, but all in all, it was an enjoyable sequal.

I don't hate it man. I said I've enjoyed the story. It's had some great genuine moments and some really forced ones too. Overall though I've been really disappointed. The first Crisis made total sense and made some really needed changes, if not a lot of missteps afterward. There will be some continuity changes here and that always helps, but it's been left really vague so far. Doom Patrol? I'm glad their back but I hope that the history gets straightened out. Will everyone just sorta remember the old histories now even if they don't apply to them? Again, hope it all gets straightened out very clearly or it's just as bad as the "some people remember some things about the Crisis but some don't" thing from before. And the last splash page with the "new" heroes is part of what I like least about the series. I saw a lot of unnecessary changes and reboots of characters that didn';t need it. Some good and most I don't know about yet so I can't judge. Does Uncle Sam need an overcoat? I liked the series but really not what I was expecting. I was hoping for something a little more ambitious I guess. Plus I didn't really think Superboy Prime and Alexander was all that great of a bad guy team when the whole plan came out. I enjoyed it but it wasn't the same experience. Sort of like the Prequel Trilogy to the Original Trilogy in Star Wars. I enjoyed the story and the nostaglia but I wanted it to be better. Just my opinion.

This was cool:
Guy: Thirty-two Lanterns K.I.A. There hasn't been a massacre like that since-
Hal: I know when.
In a perfect world, Hal would've added "Haven't we already established it was the yellow impurity? My god! Let it go!"

and although I'm still in total agreement with KSM on the entire event, there really were some good lines that came out of this.
Personally I thought, "Now who's stupid." to be one of the best.

If the Martian Manhunter was able to read Superboy Prime's mind then why didn't they try psychic attacks against him? Mind wipe that whiney ass little biatch.
