I like the direction that DC is taking with their books. After Crisis it sounds like they are on the right track. I just hope things pan out better then they did after the last big event which was zero hour! But hey that was good times cause we did get Starman out of it. On a side note, I can't wait for the Warlord book coming out soon! Good times indeed!

In my honest opinion on the matter: Yes. I hate it. Its disproportiante, exaggerated, and I've heard about artistic liscence, but his art ruined PRIESTS CAPTAIN AMERICA AND THE FALCON series.

Hmmm.. I remember his artwork in JLE and Hero Alliance. I didn't find it that bad, the biggest criticism I have, is that his women look like drag queens.

His art has 'developed' since then.

bloated... and plain weird...
the writing in WARLORD may be fantastic, but the art MAY let it down. Up to you to decide.

Well, that begs the question then. Can great writing overcome bad art and vice versa?
I think great writing can overcome sub par art but not the other way around you know?

I think it can go both ways. I read a book written by Leifield, illustrated by Jim Lee. Never bothered reading the dialog, just looked at the purty pictshurs.

Is everything going to hinge on what Power Girl wants or decides? I, too, am confused, but I love it! Give me more, give me more!

You're right, I concede that Earth-2 might not be back. The comment about the same Wonder Woman being around from the 40s to the 70s threw me.

Plus the GA Batman pic in the background there and the notebook says Daily Star. Looks like Earth 2 to me.

well, the Daily Star notebook came from Lois Lane of Earth-2, so that kind of makes sense.
But I agree about the GA batman. WASSUPWITDAT!!

Denial, Ramon. That's what you are in. This is from the same story that shows Kal-L and the retro looking Batman (the other preview art I showed you). This is a JSA story with Earth 2 history intact, one way or another. Sorry, I know it's scary for the Post-Crisis crowd to see these strange new things, but there it is.

This is my theory of what alternate Lex is doing. So far, he's collecting survivors of the multiverse. I think he needs one of each world to recreat those worlds.
Thus is why he kidnapped Lady Quark, The Ray and tried to capture Powergirl and a member of the Marvel family. The question is who will be the representative of Earth 4? (think about it.)

how DARE you! Batman has old batmobiles, some even show the old 1940s version, does that make it earth 2??? oh no, i guess not. this may show a earth 2 history but ALL we may get is the awareness of another earth. perhaps people begin to realize they dont belong like power girl is? how do we know the book isnt full of lies, history is written by the winners! how do we know... damn dc and there multliple earths... <curls up into fetal postition and sobs>

Everything's going to be alright. ;D Just think of it as the way things should be. Let go of this funky mashed up Post-Crisis history and get ready for some multiple earth wackiness! Maybe we should retitle this thread "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Multiverse".

hah, i am obviously joking about not liking the possibilities of a multiverse. It'd muck up continuity worse than it already is and we'd see years of people trying to correct it and further muck it up and then say hey, why not do that whole One universe again, this is getting old. then i shall laugh, i shall say, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH in the faces of those who mocked me?

A man in the back of the room, with a tee-shirt on that reads:[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300] GOD created the post-crisis universe [/shadow][/glow]raises his hand and asks the question: " What's a Multiverse?" Right after, the funky retro porn music kicks in as the man at the podium pulls out a gun, kicks the podium in, and fires his gun..............
