Given that it's just over two years since the title was last updated, you might have to be the one to write those issues, I'm afraid. Glad you guys enjoyed the stories. It still pains me that I wasn't able to finish that last arc before my life got insanely busy. (I even had notes for the next 5 or 6 issues.) I really would like to do more with this series, but with so much of my time now dedicated to working on my books and getting ready for Cons, then work and my girlfriend on top of that.... Yeah, it's hard enough to find time to breathe, lol. I could probably manage a bi-monthly schedule at this point, but I'm not sure if Andy could do that with how busy he is currently.

I really enojyed this issue. A great way to kick off a series for a character who tends to get pushed into the background in main DC continuity.
There were a couple of typos here and there, but nothing too serious. It happens.
That said, I give the issue five stars. Most fun I've had reading ol' Johnny boy in a long time.

glad you brought up the tear thing, Charlie.... I was afriad from the beginning that peple might not get was I was going for with that. But, whenever I'm faced with something new to try on a book that I'm afraid might not work, I force myself to do it anyway.... You never know until you try....
Anyway, what I was trying to go for was that Langstrom's view of things is different this time. It's not quite the normal first person view like usual, it's more of a distance view. Sorry if I didn't quite get that across.
As for the opening narrative. I read a lot of fantasy novels, and at the top of my list are two series. The Wheel of Time and Mistborn, both of which have writers that go into what I like to call a "poetic narrative" that I've always admired. It makes their writing come alive to me, but I'm also a big fan of poets like Jack Kerouac, so I guess it comes with the territory.
Anyway, sorry if it was a letdown, but all-in-all, I'm proud of what I accomplished with the issue. I did with it exactly what I set out to do, and although I slipped up here and there, there really isn't much I would change about it if I could.

I'm aware that green has been on Superman/Batman and he's the very reason I dropped the title.... so I already had doubts about it, then when reynolds was announced as Hal, that was the clincher...

yeah, when I heard this about a month ago, my boycot of the movie officially began... I already watched reynold kill Deadpool (not to mention any other character he's played), I won't watch him kill GL too...

well, since the first joke has already been cracked, I'll follow with another.....
Since Mike's body is 90% plastic, following his funeral, he will be melted down into lego's, so little boys can play with HIM for a change....
lol.....heard that one today and couldn't stop laughing.....

I went into this expecting to hate it... but, to my surprise, I actually enjoyed it.... not great, but solid, unlike RIP or FC....
Still, I think pretty much every other bat-book (especially streets of gotham and gotham city sirens) is going to blow this one away....
I hate the art, as I've always hated quitley's art and nothing has changed that... it looks almost like someone puked on the page to me, but hey, at least the story was decent and that's what really counts...

Thanks for reading, Brian! You've been my biggest supporter on this series since it started and I greatly appreciate that!
I'm just glad the ending didn't disappoint... "big events" can be tricky, tending to let down on the "big payoff" but I gave it my all, and I'm glad it went well.
Also glad you're excited about the coming future of "Earth C" as I'm calling it lol.... There is indeed much more to tell in this world and, as soon as things straiten out on Marvel 2.0, I'll start on it right away!
Again, I can't thank everyone enough for following me to the end of this first part of the journey... there were times I slipped up (God knows that!) but you still hung with me and waited it out. When these characters lived out their story in my head, I felt I had to write it down, I'm just glad I did that story justice!
See you in the next chapter... (and also around the Batman Beyond world) lol

Thanks, UDC. Glad you enjoyed the ride.
I'll be the first to admit that the Trigon/Raven angle has been done, but, to me, it's always a fun place to go! This was more of a prologue than anything, and, as you may have been able to tell from the "Batman Scene" there's a lot more to come! Pay close attention to what was described on those walls! It pretty much told you what was coming (in a cryptic way) lol
thanks again for reading!

Great stuff! My review of this will be hitting next week, but, let me just say that both Arrow and Vig were handled amazingly!
Susan, it was nice to see you here to help with Vig, and trust me, your presence was FELT! (in a good way, of course) lol

Well, I've been needing a Superman fix, what with Supes not even being in his own titles and new krypton not catching my interest.... so, I noticed that Action here was under a new writer...perfect jumping on point!
I read it and, I gotta say, Pat....
*sigh* How can I phrase this eloquently?....
It was great! (thought I was going a different direction there, didn't you? lol)
Although, I do agree with Don that Lois seems a bit "shrewish" as he put it, but, other than that, great read..... this is the first story of yours I've had the pleasure of reading, Pat, and it wasn't a disappointment! keep it up!

Wasn't able to get it this week since diamond screwed up my local shop's orders...... so far for me though, the Man-Bat story was the best thing to come out of it...... I really hope they give Langstrom a bigger role in the Bat-universe coming up.... he's been shoved in the background for far too long in my opinion....

who do you think is the dumbest jedi in existence?.... I'll reserve my answer for now.......just curious as to what the answer is... -Cam- My opnion: Anakin. Palpatine's enticements to the Dark Side were pretty weak (or written that way). Plus the actor sucked hard. Who's you're pick? really? Interesting pick.... Are you saying you don't want Vader either or just the crybaby version of anakin that was in attack of the clones..... Anways, the choice for me is easy.... and I'll probably get flamed for this buuuuut.....mace windu...... God I hated him and was never more happy to see a jedi die..... Part of that probably stems from my hatred of sam jackson though.... I think his a vastly overrated actor...... the way I see it, he can only play one part well.... the stereotypical @$$hole.... in almost every movie he's in, he plays the same kind of guy...... ok, I'll stop now before my sam jackson rave gets out of control lol so, ok, go ahead, bring on the "I can't believe you don't like sam jackson" comments... I've heard them all before, I can take it! lol -Cam-

I think it was a pretty impressive visual myself, but that's my opinion. I will agree that the Darth Maul fight was a pretty rad scene... and, next to Yoda, Qui-Gon is my favorite Jedi anyway.... he was one of the few jedi who would break the rules if it meant getting things done.... I respect that..... but, for the record, while we're on the subject, who do you think is the dumbest jedi in existence?.... I'll reserve my answer for now.......just curious as to what the answer is...

Loved it. Hell, I think J.J. Abrams should tackle Star Wars next, and wipe the abomination of the prequels from our minds...! say what you will about the prequels, Dave, but Yoda fighting palpetine will forever stand out as the greatest star wars moment of all time for me..... granted episode two was a huge trainwreck, and the other two had problems, but, they weren't unwatchable, let's face it though, no star wars movie can ever live up to empire strikes back, and for the record, I'd take all the of the prequels over the stupid clone wars movie and series any day.......

I picked up JLA/Avengers last November.... I was a little disappointed, but that's probably just because I'm not a fan of Busiek's writing.... I think he's pretty boring most of the time.... Trinity is his best effort so far to me.

Well, Dave we can bat these things back and forth all day (or all week lol) the point is, we can agree on at least one thing. This isn't Barry we're reading in Rebirth, it's some new guy who happens to look like Barry.
For now, let's focus on what we can agree on. I hate arguing opinions on comic arcs lol

I have to disagree with you there, Dave. While I do agree that Marv wrote Wally exceptionally well, my favorite Wally writer will always be Mark Waid. His Flash run was the most fun I ever had reading the Flash title. I wish he'd come back for another shot at it, but I really don't see that happening...
And I'll also agree with you on the fact that, when Johns is off, he's way off... his portrayal of Batman is just terrible. I cringe every time I see Batman in a Johns comic.
But, I have to disagree with Thy Kingdom Come. I thought it was a very well done story. Granted it took way too long to play out and it could've been summed up smaller number of books (as a lot of comics can) but still, I enjoyed it.
And, I don't really blame him for Crisis. I blame Didio for that trainwreck. I think if Johns had had total free-reign on it, it would have been much better, but, we'll never know for sure. And hey, you have to admit, it's a heck of a lot better than Final Crisis could ever hope to be!....but then, what isn't? lol

No, you misunderstand. There was no offense taken.
I'll agree that the way I chose to go with this issue has been done, but I wasn't aware of any instance where it was done with Tim, that's why I went for it.
Next issue you'll see Tim taken in another direction he's never been taken before. And, I think you'll find it much more satisfying than this one!
That's right, it's the extra-sized finale of Betrayal! Hide the kids and tell the neighbors, cuz it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

I'll agree with you there. Barry definitely isn't Barry and I can see why that would upset you.
As for me, I never liked Barry anyway, but I still see reason to be upset. So, I kind of like this Barry a little, but what pisses me off is this isn't Barry!
I mean, you're basically replacing Wally (the only person I'll ever recognize as Flash) with the "iconic" Barry who isn't even acting like himself!
If you have to change a characters personality completely in order to bring them back, why bother? Especially when you've got a perfectly good character in place anyway!
Anyway, that's my say in the matter. I'm reading Rebirth because I want to make sure I'm up to date and that's it. After Barry's Flash series kicks off, I won't be reading.

Again, that was not the final! I just loved it so much, I couldn't wait to share it with everyone! This is the cover for Robin:Betrayal #6 (the final issue!)......He totally captured the spirit of what I was going for with this last chapter..... This is a (for those of you who know of Yu Yu Hakusho) a Yuske vs. Toguro moment..... after being dragged through all kinds of hell, by the bad guy, our hero is pretty freakin pissed..... How far will he be willing to go? Well, you'll just have to read and find out!

I'm not gonna argue with you- we disagree and that's that- but I am curious to know why you think Bucky has 'disgraced' the mantle? Is it just because he's used a gun? (And non-lethally at that) There's an entire list of why I think Buck has disgraced the mantle.... I go over that list constantly with friends (and as I said, it's a long one) so I won't go into it here.... but yes, the gun was one of many things I found to be a disgrace.... and I'll tel you why.... Cap is a guardian... a defender.... that's why his shield was all he ever used... he didn't go looking for a fight, only to stand up against injustice.... so, giving him a gun is stupid and tears down everything he stood for..... so yeah, I hate bucky, even before he bacame cap I hated him..... bringing him back from the dead was a huge mistake in my book and that's another reason why I refuse to recognize the existence of a Cap in comics today.... when Steve comes back, I'll start reading Marvel again (if they have a good writer on him.) but, until then, I'm avoiding them like the plague (other than MI13)........ -Cam-
